I have been going to Gino's for the past 8 years and never had any issues with the quality or quantity of food I have received up until the last couple months. Today I paid 10$ for a popcorn chicken poutine and the container was not even half full as I watched another customer walk away with a medium fries with gravy (that was obvioulsy cheaper than mine)that was over flowing the container. I brought this to the employees attention and he assured me the size or my poutine was correct and of course I have already paid so I was stuck with this minuscule poutine. Also about a month ago I tried the shawarma poutine and was charged extra because apparently their chicken shawarma poutine is the only one I've ever seen anywhere that does not come with gravy?! How is it a poutine then? Anyway I've learned my lesson they have shitty portions and shitty customer service and I will never go back.
Reply to owners response: Well you should advertise that you are only getting a small portion of fries with your "gourmet" poutine for 10$ because it is not worth the price and I would've never ordered it if I had known that. I legit just paid 10$ for a handful of fries and 10 pieces of popcorn chicken. Not impressed.and won't...
Read moreI usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel this is something the owners should be aware of. I have been at this hospital for three days and have given this location steady business, but unfortunately, the service has been consistently below expectations.
The staff often seem unhappy, which reflects in their interactions with customers. When I ordered home fries, they were hard and undercooked. When I politely brought this to the staff’s attention, I was told that this is how they are always served and that making a fresh batch wouldn’t change the outcome. After some discussion with the employee, Sham, he eventually agreed to make a new batch, which I appreciated.
Additionally, I asked if I could substitute bacon for extra fries due to personal dietary reasons, but my request was denied without any flexibility. I wasn’t asking for anything extra, just a simple substitution, so this was disappointing.
I hope the management considers improving customer service and food quality, as small adjustments can make a big difference—especially in a hospital setting where many customers are already facing...
Read moreI'm an RN and ran down to get the all day breakfast. It wasn't past a time that they couldn't make it. I was rudely told that they already cleaned the grill and I'd have to pick something else. If it's an all day breakfast, it should be ALL day. It's not my problem (but it apparently is) that they decided to close up parts of the kitchen BEFORE closing time. If they want to do that, they should hang a sign out saying just that... "limited menu a half hour before closing". I regret ever spending a dime there and will no longer support their business. I gladly turned away two other employees from supporting them and will gladly have others join me. Going to the Better Business Bureau as soon as I can. This is just a very poor...
