Staff was nice and accommodating. It’s nice inside.
Went with a group they did a buffet style for the food, tacos weren’t that great and the wings were pretty dry. Also had a flatbread like a rock with no flavour and some cherry tomatoes and feta on top. The drinks were also all ice and not cheap. I was going to ask for light ice but it was pretty hot in there at one point so I just stuck with the glass full of ice.
I never used a simulator but it didn’t feel consistent. Balls kept getting stuck and the tee wouldn't pop up automatically. The grass sand and rough was a little warn out so every shot was the ball would register then not register sometimes when a ball was hit would not register, we would have to grab another ball and set it ourself. I think they might of actually had to many balls in pit for the feeder. You are definitely paying a premium for this to load your ball and the floor to move and those features weren’t that great… the swing plate shifting and changing angle is a cool feature sure but wears off pretty quick.
Driving range worked the best compared to the courses we played. Still found most of the shots were not registering the distance. Could do 3 of the same drives in a row and have a 30-150 yard difference randomly.
Maybe these need to be calibrated every so often. Everyone else in the group was saying it was a lot harder than real golf, clubs we knew we were consistent on would all fall very short.
I would say it’s best to go with a group. When the simulator is $60 an hour plus tax. One round took about an hour with 4 of us. Definitely warm up with about 30 minutes on the driving range first and get a feel for the sim if you have never been to one. Maybe try playing an easier course as well at first.
We also didn’t notify the staff about issues we were having. Its golf and some one in your party will always have an excuse when they aren’t playing so well, I’m sure they have heard pretty much every...
Read moreVery disappointed with this entire experience. I was very excited to try this place for the first time but my recent experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
We planned a friends birthday celebration with a larger group. This was planned 4 weeks in advance so they could staff properly for this group. The simulator was great and everyone enjoyed this aspect. It was the service we received afterwards. We had our table go 30 minutes without being greeted. Only a handful of us received drinks, while others were empty handed. We pulled the manager (who we found out later was actually the OWNER) and mentioned the delays in service and she was extremely rude and unapologetic. She never apologized, took ownership and only had poor things to about the only staff member working. We had a handful of us leave to eat else where due to lack of service. Only half of us got to eat. When food touched our table others still DIDNT have drinks! We ordered app and mains, which came at the same time. Some of our tables food never touched the table.
Food and simulator, zero complaints. Every complaint about the lack of organization of staff for a large party. This place isn't cheap. The golf isn't cheap. The drinks aren't cheap. The food isn't cheap. For a large group to have made reservations and pay a lot of money to be there should get reasonable service. It was no surprise we were coming and at what time we were coming. It should have been staffed accordingly for the event. The owner heard our complaints and responded with negative comment about her staff. I won't be back...
Read moreLinx Kitchen and social. A wonderful proposition for a business and at first glance everything seems nice and enjoyable. In fact the first few experiences were by all measure very good. As they've established a more regular customer base though it seems they don't feel the need to impress that customer base any longer. The last two experiences have been quite the opposite. While the facility and particularly the simulators are top quality and while most of the staff are beyond exceptional the management and their approach to customers is well below acceptable. Twice they cut our session short of the time we paid for. The most recent experience had them tell us we could extend our stay to 10 o'clock which was closing time only to tell us we had to leave early after we had paid for the evening. Let me make clear I have no issues with this had we been told this was the case when we booked the time or had the price of our session been prorated based on the reduced time but none of this was presented to us until we were very rudely told we had to leave immediately. When asked why we weren't told of the policy prior to them letting us book the time slot we were given no explanation, or reparation. We have been many times the last few weeks and have brought a large number of friends who have become somewhat regular patrons as well, that said after these past few experiences it's hard to get the bad taste out of our mouths. A great business is only great if you get what you pay for and this just has not been the case at...
