Ok ok. Everyone always asks where’s the best Chinese food? Look no further. But call ahead… Like the day before . Don’t expect to get this experience easily. We’re blessed to have this here in Beaumont. i’ve ordered from here more than a multiple of times, always calling the day before. The order is correct and on time for pick up! The portions and prices are on point, lots of left over. Insider info. I drop my child off at daycare in the same parking lot. I watch, see the produce and product going in. They do the work, and you can taste it in their dishes. You have to be early and well planned to catch this experience. Great job Golden place. It has taken me a long time to want to try chinese from another restaurant. I absolutely love chan can wok on ellerslie rd, in Rutherford. I've been craving it and really haven't wanted to drive all the way over there. I looked through what we have in Beaumont, and the reviews on this place really don't lie! We ordered a #2, two #3s, beef and broccoli, and 2 green onion cakes. Everything was awesome. The chicken fried rice was dry, but they added more than enough sauce for the sweet and sour chicken balls. So you really won't notice it. The best chinese food I have had in Alberta for over 15 years (since I was a kid). All real food, flavours and colours. All Chinese food places now a days are just everything slathered in sauce with fake colours and teriyaki sauce. Not here. It’s a great little family owned restaurant and the owners are always so nice. We ordered for 10 people and asked to have it ready by 6pm. We were driving in from Edmonton and got a call right at 6 o’clock letting us know it was ready for pickup :).
