*Posting this to the sister page. Extremely disappointed in our experience. Was giving this restaurant a second chance however they made the exact same mistake as last time only this time also forgot another item. We ordered off DoorDash, I requested the butter chicken sauce as I do not eat meat. I asked in the instructions to contact me if this was not possible and I was order something else. No one contacted and for the second time I received half the amount of sauce with chicken. We also did not receive our samosas so I literally did not have a meal. I called the restaurant requesting a refund. They declined and when the forwarded me to a manager it actually was just another staff member. I asked if the samosas and an alternative meal could be delivered as we love right by the restaurant. They said the could not do this and forwarded me to DoorDash who would also not refund the full meal as per policy. This was a huge inconvenience and I highly recommend anyone seeking some Indian food to resort to an alternative restaurant to avoid...
Read morewent there with a colleague friday evening, the place was deserted, that should have been our first clue. Ordered the lamb biryani, and chicken tikka kabab As a person of Indian origin, it is disappointing that such flavourless food is served in the guise of Indian food
Our server, was too busy chatting away in an asian language on a phone call, to even notice, that it was stifling, as the airconditioner was not switched on- so much for caring and committed staff
The colleague I was with could not finish his biryani, and asked for it to be packed, and he was provided with a food container, to DIY- sadly as it custom we tipped 15% (although we felt she did not deserve it)
To the chef, if you want to taste tasty Indian food, perhaps you should come to our place. Although we are not chefs, we can cook more tasty food
If this is award winning food, I shudder to think how bad the other restaurants (that didn't win...
Read moreVisited Dhaba 2 in Bedford on September 27th, 2025, for dinner with my family and a friend, and it was a wonderful experience. We started with spring rolls, veg pakora, samosas, and assorted chutneys – all fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. For mains, we enjoyed Garlic Cilantro Naan, Saffron Rice, Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Tikka Masala, each dish perfectly cooked and well-balanced with spices. To finish, the Mango Lassi was refreshing and the ideal dessert after a hearty meal.
A special mention to Mr. Rafeeq, our table attendant, who was polite, attentive, and very helpful in recommending the best dishes for us. The restaurant atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for both family outings and friendly gatherings. Pricing felt fair for the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, a delightful dining experience – flavorful food, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance. Highly...
