Labelle et la boeuf Where the Patties are Hot and the Barman's Not**
Walking into Labelle et la boeuf, you're hit with the sizzle of the grill and the promise of a burger that could rival your grandma's Sunday roast. The service? Impeccable. The staff glide around with the grace of ballet dancers, plates piled high with burgers so juicy, they could star in their own foodie rom-com.
The food is a culinary masterpiece, each bite a harmonious symphony of flavors that makes your taste buds dance the tango. The chef must have been a wizard in a past life because the way that bacon hugs the patty is pure magic.
But let's talk about the barman. Ah, the barman. A charming fellow, with a smile so yellow you'd think he'd lost the lottery. When it comes to mixing drinks, let's just say he's still at the 'enthusiastic amateur' stage. Picture this: a martini so shaken it got dizzy, and a mojito that was more of a minty salad than a cocktail.
Yet, there's something endearing about his earnest attempts to master the art of mixology. It's like watching a toddler take their first steps – wobbly, uncertain, but utterly heartwarming. You can't help but root for him.
In conclusion, La Belle et la boeuf is the place to be if you're looking for a meal that will leave you stuffed and satisfied, with service so swift you'll wonder if they've got rollerblades on. Just be prepared for a cocktail adventure that's as unpredictable as a plot twist in a telenovela. Cheers to the barman – may his spirits be high and his pours generous! 🍔🍸

I recently visited this restaurant and was deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and value for the price. It's no surprise that the St-Sauveur location closed and that the chain relies on large billboards to promote $25+ burgers—it feels like a desperate attempt to offset a declining reputation.
During my visit, I encountered numerous unexpected charges that were not communicated clearly, I go with clients to diffrent restaurants 4 to 6 times à month and this is a first for me.
For example, a $5.95 upcharge for substituting fries with onion rings " for a small premium " as the server mentioned, way overcooked also.
$1.50 for hot sauce, and $2 for specifying mayo. None of these charges were mentioned in advance, all this which gave the impression of dishonesty.
To add insult to injury, the tip was calculated on the total including taxes, which feels like an underhanded practice. Paying $65.60 for a bland burger and a poutine would be acceptable if the service and transparency matched the price point—but that was far from the case.
This kind of approach doesn’t align with the level of quality and integrity expected from a burger restaurant in this price range. It’s the principle of hidden charges and unclear communication that left a lasting negative impression.
Went back to talk to Manager, and all he could say was " it's written in the menu" , then the server and some other guy came to gang up and come up with a bag of excuses, that's when I decided to leave and not bother anymore
I won’t be stepping foot or returning and cannot recommend this cheap and very blend burger...
Read moreI called labelle et la boeuf (boisbriand) and spoke to the hostess in September to make a reservation for December 31st. The hostess took down all my information and sent me a text to confirm my reservation. December 31st comes my family and I are standing outside the restaurant at 7:30pm the time we reserved for and the restaurant was closed. Apparently the restaurant was closed all day. What I don’t understand is why no one looked at their reservation book and contact anyone who made a reservation to tell them that the restaurant would be closed that day. Now it’s New Year’s Eve at 7:30pm at night we’re all hungry and all the other restaurants are booked and full with everyone else’s reservations. Try looking for somewhere to eat with your family on the night of New Year’s Eve. What a horrible experience. Very disappointed!
After leaving my review the restaurant never tried to contact me to ask me any questions or to even try to make it right! And they care about their clients?? They never contacted me to see if they could...
