Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Bradford West Gwillimbury

Under new management. We have been going to bradford ginos for many years. Always good, until the past few months. I order online. Twice in the past few months, when picking up, the store was closed!! Well before their posted closing time. One of those days was Mother's day!! No notice, no phone call . The first time, head office only offered my $10 off my next order. The second time, i demanded to have them have the newmarket location deliver my order. They refused. I requested to speak to a supervisor. After an excuse of unavailability, i told them to have them call me back. They did not. I hadn't had the time to right a very nasty review. So, when my son requested to have ginos for a friends gathering last night, I hesitated. I called the store directly to express my concerns. I spoke to a very nice, professional man. I think his name is Deepak. As of May 28/24, he has taken over and re-assured me my negative experiences would not happen again. He was very helpful with my decision making of my order, expressed looking forward to meeting me at pick up. Pick up went very well, he shook my hand, and was anxious to hear how we enjoyed our food. The food was great. The store even looked cleaner. They are offering the high schools a free pizza slice on wed june 5/24. They are anxious to regain customer satisfaction. I felt the sincerity and and trust service and food will be good, going forward. Though I did feel toppings were lacking the past few years, I figured it was all this inflation and cut backs. For the past 5 years I have ordered pizza here, a few each month. Lately I have noticed new people running the business and making pizza, so I assume there has been a change of ownership. The pizza remains to be good quality, however, the pricing is all over the place!! I alway got Xtra Large 3 Item pizza for around $12. A few weeks ago I ordered 2 of my standard 3 item Xtra Large and the lady on the phone quoted me $40! Since then I have paid just over $15. Tonight I ordered and was charged $15 plus tax for a “Large”. I showed the guy a sign on the window which said “Large 3 item pizza and 1 dipping sauce $14.49. He told me “that was an old sign and prices have gone up 1 or 2 dollars”. When I explained it is still an advertised price, he just stared at me. Finally I asked “are you not going to give me back some money and a dipping sauce?” He finally gave me some change from the till and a dipping sauce. But this is frustrating, and it’s now time for me to move to Domino’s after 5 years of 100% loyalty. I have never purchased from any other place for 5 years, but I will now!

I have been going to this location regularly for quite some time now, however I will no longer be doing so after today's experience. Extremely disappointed!!

My husband went in to order pizza today (Aug. 11th, 2022) after another customer, who he noticed was being served by a lady not wearing gloves.. doesn't seem like a health concern at all?! The other customer didn't seem to care but my husband made sure to point it out, telling her to put gloves on to which she replied; "well I don't have any gloves", and continued to try and grab a piece with paper towel but also still using her bare hands. Gross, to say the least🤢
