We went to Boston Pizza tonight, we were greeted almost immediately and sat super fast. We ordered a Bandera bread app which came out fairly quickly and tasted absolutely amazing. Our order got taken, she ordered Jumbalaya Fettuccine with extra marinara and I ordered Chicken Penne with extra Alfredo sauce and baked cheese on top. After she took our order she came back to reconfirm the order with us and tell us the price difference for if we got garlic bread or garlic cheese bread which we ordered as an add-on and we decided to get the extra one as garlic bread. Our entire order was written down when she took our order and then she also reconfirmed. When the food was brought out, mine had mushrooms, onions and tomatoes in it, which i had specifically requested to her 2-3 times that it wasn't on there, but no problem mistakes happen that's okay. I asked for it to be remade because I unfortunately do not eat many varieties of things. I ordered it with the cheese bread upgrade and asked for them to remake the cheese bread as well since I had wanted it with the pasta originally ( that's the whole reason I get cheese bread, is to dip with the pasta ) Next thing I know she brings me back the cheese bread and I reiterate what I told the gentleman who took it back originally. Then she tells me she might have to charge me for it since I already was brought the bread that I sent back ( ? at this point it seemed like she blamed me to the kitchen and didn't want to take responsibility for the mistake ) Anyways, we get it back afterwards and get the cheese bread remade ( which we were never informed on what was even going on with everything ) then we get the food, and it's LATHERED in luke warm sauce and has no baked cheese which is around 3.49 extra. Our server never checked on us to make sure everything was okay or anything like that. 20 minutes pass and she comes by the table and I asked her if there was baked cheese on it because I didn't see it, but maybe I missed it so I just wanted to be sure. She said she didn't see it either and turned away as I was trying to say something, she walked up to that gentleman ( I assume the manager i don't really know ) and used hand air quotations and went to the machine instantly, I wasn't given any information on what was happening, nor was it really resolved. I normally don't have issues, and I was still really nice through all of it, we barely saw our server the entire night even when there was only 1 other table in the start when we arrived. The air quotations were quite rude after she looked and agreed with us that there wasn't baked cheese, and the overall condescending attitude was really an experience killer for us. We were planning to get dessert right from the start but ended up just heading down the road to Crepestar and had a much better end to our night.
The picture is the first one we received which was made with the vegetables in it, it looked very appetizing outside and you can see there is baked cheese. The video is the remake that was sent out being lathered in luke warm sauce and no baked cheese. You can also see her pasta didn't have extra marinara like she had...
Read moreFirst experience here was 4 stars, the server and food were awesome. Unfortunately tonight my husband and I had an entirely different experience. Food was cold and undercooked when we got it and my husband's pizza was so undercooked that the cheese was still hard. We were served our dinner and waited for our server to come back just to let her know so we could get it cooked a little longer and she never returned to the table to ask how we were or if we needed anything. She looked at us many times and just walked by. I just needed salt and pepper for my fries so I could try to eat them even though they were undercooked and cold. So we sat there for a long time and didn't even eat our food because we were waiting to let her know that it was cold and wasn't cooked all the way. Finally about 25 mins go by and she comes to our table to ask if we need takeout trays.... she never bothered to ask why we hadnt eaten our food so my husband pointed out what was wrong with it and that we waited for her to come back to the table so we could ask her to fix it for us and she didn't even seem to care, just rolled her eyes and put our bill on our table and walked away. She didnt even try to make it right or take a small percentage off our bill to try to make us happier, she was clearly just annoyed with us which seemed extremely rude and ironic. Honestly just so unhappy and disappointed. Some of the worst food and service I've ever received. Unfortunately I changed my review to reflect that experience because I will not...
Read moreI have never gone to Boston Pizza before and this was my first experience. The expressionless front of house worker just stared blankly through us upon arrival. Luckily we got in at a good time and were seated immediately. We ordered some sides and drinks to start and received said order 20 minutes later. We ordered a couple of pizzas and after about 40 minutes of waiting we got the pizzas shown in the pictures attached. You would think that a place called "Boston Pizza" would have good pizza but this is by far the most disappointing presentation, taste, and experience I have had in a pizza place in a while. The Caprese was wet, flimsy and coated head to toe in basil. The "Meateor" looked like a microwave pizza with cold cuts on it. The meat was incredibly dry and they committed the one cardinal sin when making pizza. bites of just sauce and no toppings. For something that looked so thrown together with no sense of decorum you have to ask yourself the question "Why did I wait so long for something this bad?". The waitress noticed me taking pictures of the food and asked if everything was okay. We were honest with them and told them that whomever made these dishes weren't really giving a good effort. I hope that they can improve in the future but it is still my duty as a local guide to inform the people of the service provided here.
In summation, If you get in at a good time you can get seated immediately, the wait times for the food are horrendous and the pizza at Boston Pizza is not...
