This was my first visit to this recently opened A&W location, and I was genuinely impressed with the setup and cleanliness. The store feels well organized and well maintained, and I especially loved the hand-washing station near the countera thoughtful touch that I’ve never seen at other fast food chains like McDonald’s or Burger King. It’s an excellent idea, and I highly recommend other fast-food chains consider implementing this feature in their dining areas.
For breakfast, I ordered a sandwich that was prepared just right delicious and exactly how I wanted it. The server was quiet and polite, which made for a pleasant experience.
After placing my order, I began taking a few pictures to include in my review, as I often do. However, I was unexpectedly approached by a team member who politely asked me not to take photos. This was surprising since I’ve reviewed many locations and never had an issue with photos before. When I asked for more clarification, I was told it was “policy” not to take pictures of the menu, even though there was no visible notice stating this restriction. Given that they even had a Google review stand encouraging reviews, the request felt inconsistent.
To understand more, I asked the team member to clarify further, and she called her area manager, who reiterated the no photo rule for the menu. This policy seemed odd to me, especially as a reviewer with significant experience (and 78 million views), and I hope A&W’s higher management could clarify this stance.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, I was pleased with the cleanliness, setup, and food quality at this location. However, the photo policy could be better communicated to avoid confusing situations. For fellow reviewers and casual visitors, this is a great spot, but be aware of the potential photo restrictions. (Don’t not see anything in writing)
I would kindly suggest that someone from A&W to response to my review. I gave this restaurant one ⭐️ because of the experience I had about photo issue. Hope to hear back from management soon I have also attached other people reviews and photos management have thanked them for their reviews but didn’t mention anything about their...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at the A&W drive-thru. We went there around 2:16 AM and ordered three Masala Veggie Burgers. After paying, the staff member (a man wearing a turban) told us it would take about five minutes to prepare the order, which we were okay with.
However, right after we paid, he suddenly instructed us to leave the drive-thru, park our car, and return after five minutes to pick up the food. We were confused and asked why this was necessary. He responded by saying it's an A&W rule that customers must order through the drive-thru, leave, and then return to collect their food—something we've never heard of before.
When we questioned this policy, he became abrupt and said he didn’t want to give us our order and would refund the money instead. He returned our payment in cash, closed the window, and walked away.
You can check the CCTV camera to verify everything that happened.
This is not how paying customers should be treated. I suggest A&W seriously look into this location’s customer service practices. It was not just unprofessional—it felt...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars i would. Walked in to order a burger and went to the counter where the manager (an indian woman) was putting change in the till. Im a white male...Stood there for about 3 minutes before she looked up at me and said, "What do you want" ......I thought that was kind of rude but whatever...I asked her for a combo..she said I'd have to wait and for me to go sit-down...before I had a chance to ask why she turned around and walked away. ...so I sat at a table and waited for her to return ...less then a minute later a young indian man Walked in went up the the counter and the manager came out and said "hi what can I get for you"...he started ordering ...so I stood up and asked her why was I told to wait but this man didn't have to. We were ordering the same meal... she just looked at me and rolled her eyes then started talking to the man in indian. It's pretty obvious she didn't want to take my order so I just walked out. Can't help but feel if I had been indian maybe i would have gotten better service....guess I don't have the right color skin...
