Extremely Disrespectful and Disorganized – Won’t Be Returning
I came to this restaurant with my family of eight and was told there would be a 35–40 minute wait. That was totally fine with us — we decided to take a short walk and three of us grabbed some ice cream from a nearby place (Rock 'n' Roll).
Not even five minutes later, I got a call that our table was ready. This was surprising and honestly confusing, considering the long wait we were just told. Since only three of us had ice cream, we were nearly finished and sent the rest of the family in to get seated. The plan was for the three of us to finish quickly and then join them.
But when I tried to walk in with the last few bites of my ice cream, three staff members immediately stopped me at the door — very aggressively — and told me I couldn't come in with "outside food." I explained the situation: we were told 35–40 minutes, we went to grab ice cream nearby to pass the time, and now I’m just trying to join my family and still planning to order food like everyone else. They didn’t care at all. Instead, they stood their ground, repeatedly saying “you can’t come in,” and spoke to me in a rude and dismissive tone. The way they handled it was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. I wasn’t bringing in a meal or refusing to buy anything — I was literally finishing up a small ice cream I bought because they told me I had more than half an hour to wait. This is not how you treat paying customers, especially when your own poor communication created the situation.
Next time, either give accurate wait times or show some basic understanding instead of treating customers like they’re doing something wrong. I will absolutely not be returning to this restaurant, and I won’t recommend it to others either. Their staff was rude, inflexible, and completely lacking in customer service skills. A truly...

Read moreVisited today for dinner with family and overall it is same except a thumbs down for two factors:
The potato in masala was half cooked as same had to be crushed by hand as half cooked as shown on photo.
All four chutneys were good. The sambhar served was not upto mark and taste or flavor. It was piping hot when served and somehow seemed as not freshly prepared. Something was amiss in sambhar. So in this visit after 2 years, our experience was not matching earlier food standards. Ordered masala dosa, kids chocolate dosa and gobi 65.
To add to this we relished their thali but leant it's now available only from 11 to 3 pm and not in evenings. Another hiccup.
Below is my review experienced 2 years ago.
This unit is exemplary both in food, customer service and interiors decoration and ambience from other outlets.
Ordered varied South Indian items and each were upto the mark. The decorative pieces and interiors display is fabulous.
A small input on their Annnalaxmi thali. Though mix and items are enough , the subji/ vegetables are spoonful!
Else a good joint to enjoy both food and venue with family and...
