Serious Concern: Selling Under-Weighted Food Items — Dishonest Practice Hidden Behind Popularity I’ve been a regular customer here for quite some time and always appreciated the taste of their snacks. However, repeated experiences have made me question their honesty and transparency. Recently, I purchased a 400 gram pack of Vanela Gathiya, but upon weighing it, the total weight (including the box) was only 415 grams. The box itself weighed 47 grams, meaning the actual food content was just 368 grams. This isn’t an isolated case. A while back, the same issue occurred with their Bateka Vada order that was also sold as “1 pound” but weighed much less. What’s troubling is that this store has a long-standing reputation and popularity, which seems to let them get away with such practices. Selling under-weighted food is deceptive and unacceptable — especially when customers trust the brand. I also compared products from other vendors, and those items consistently weighed as advertised. I even have a video recording of the weighing process to support these findings. While I still appreciate the flavor of their products, this raises serious doubts about their integrity and quality standards. If a business can openly sell under-weighted items, one has to question whether the same shortcuts are being taken with oil quality and ingredients used in their kitchen. I urge fellow customers to weigh and verify their purchases — and to support honest vendors who uphold basic consumer trust. Businesses that thrive in our community should be held to higher standards of transparency, not allowed to profit through misleading practices.

The food here is very Tasty! The place is good ! They are clean! That’s the best part! My family enjoys Khaman and Dabeli here!! Nylon khaman is great here. Don’t forget to try them all! The staff is great!

Edited review on 24th October 2023, Dussehra.. I am reducing the ratings from 5 to 1.. It seems management is changed these days On 20th October, Friday, they charged 13$ for 1 box Fafda On very next day 21st October, Saturday, they charged 14$ plus tax for same box of Fafda (without sambharo) that too without any prior notice that they are increasing the price overnight (I was OK with that) as lady at counter said that they have increased the price from that morning. But on the day of Dussehra, they increased price again and started to charge 15$ plus tax ( total 17$) and that too without sambharo.. is this joke.. you are increasing 2$ in just 4 days..they are looting the people and making people fool.. the lady at the counter is very rude.. previous management was very good , atleast they had etiquette talking to the people..At last I had to purchase fafda from Gujarati food and I paid 13$ and that too including tax.. Please stop...

I recently visited Dinesh Indian Cuisines and was blown away by their delicious food. As someone who is not a fan of Gujarati food because of its excessive use of sugar, I was hesitant to try this place. But after hearing some great reviews, I decided to give it a chance.

I was pleased to discover that Dinesh Indian Cuisines has plenty of spicy options available without any added sugar. The Moong Dal pakoras were especially delicious, with just the right amount of crunch and flavor. The Vada pav was also excellent, with a perfect balance of spices.

In addition to the main dishes, they also have a great selection of namkeen available on their shelves. I tried a few and was impressed by the variety and quality.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and my food was ready quickly and packaged well.

Overall, I highly recommend Dinesh Indian Cuisines for anyone looking for delicious Indian food without any added sugar. Their Moong Dal pakoras and Vada pav are not...
