If you’re a fan of Chinese food with a South Asian twist, Guru’s Hakka Chinese Cuisine is a hidden gem worth discovering. This charming restaurant offers an excellent blend of Hakka-style dishes with the bold flavors and spices that characterize Indian and South Asian Chinese cuisine. The best part; It’s incredibly affordable, making it a fantastic option for casual dining or a family meal. The menu is filled with a wide array of dishes, each offering something unique. The food quality is top-notch, with fresh ingredients that really shine through in every bite. What sets Guru’s apart is its customization options – you can adjust the level of spice to suit your personal taste, from mild to fiery, which is a great perk for spice lovers or those with a more delicate palate. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring you get great value for your money. Whether you're in the mood for classic Hakka chowmein or spicy gobi manchurian, you'll find plenty to satisfy your cravings. The flavors are bold and balanced, with the right amount of seasoning to bring out the best in each dish. I highly recommend Guru’s Hakka Chinese Cuisine to anyone craving South Asian-style Chinese food. It’s especially perfect for those who love the fusion of Indian spices with traditional Chinese dishes. If you're in the area or even just passing through, don’t miss out on this delightful culinary experience.

Thank you Guru. You are a true Guru for screw-ups! I wish I could give them zero stars. At an event nearby and Saif was home starving. Went here to pick up some quick food. Busy inside. Ordered a Vegetarian Manchurian and Veggie Fries Rice to go. The person on the counter said 20-25 minutes wait as they were busy. I requested if it could be done a bit early, he said may not be possible as it was super busy. Got my order after 55 minutes. After expressing quite clearly that the order was late. At 45 minutes called the manager and requested that I be given a refund as food was still not ready. Two more takeout orders similar to me had same issues. Manager requested 5 more minutes to make it right. I gave in. After five I protested again. He said he will make it right and handed me a big bag of food. Thinking that he was throwing in some thing free I confirmed it was my order. He said yes. Come home which is 30 minutes away drive on a highway. I find that there are three chicken dishes and two noodles dishes and three steamed rice. Not even close to our order. We are vegetarians and don’t eat eggs either. Did. It ask if the noodles had egg in them as I did. It order them. All the food went to waste. Thank you Guru. You are a true of screw-ups.

I’ve been a regular customer at Guru’s Indian Hakka Cuisine (Formerly Guru’s Chilli Chinese Cuisine) for years now as the taste of the Rice and Noodle dishes specifically is unique and not found in other Indo-Chinese restaurants across the GTA. For the past few years, I’ve noticed that the quality of the dishes has gone down a bit. The vegetables are now less in the Fried Rice compared to what it used to be before. However, the quantity of the dishes has been good and consistent from the beginning. I normally order Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetable Hakka Noodles, Vegetable Manchurian (Gravy) & Spicy Crispy Vegetables. Ordered the same items this time and wasn’t quite happy. The Spicy Crispy Vegetables was a disappointment as the vegetables were dry and not crispy. They lacked the spicy flavour as well. The Vegetable Fried Rice and Vegetable Hakka Noodles were okay this time and missing the extra flavour this time. The Vegetable Manchurian was also okay in taste but had less gravy this time. The prices of the food at this restaurant have gone up in the last two years and more compared to other Hakka Chinese restaurants for the same dishes.

Real Nepalese, making REAL Haakkaa food. After visiting almost every hakka joint in Toronto, Mississauga to Brampton; I have found Guru's Chilli Chinese to be THE spot for GREAT quality Haakkaa deliciousness. Good portion, Amazing variety. Also, every dish is different in taste and texture from one another as it is DELICIOUS. Believe me, I have tried EVERYTHING on the menu. I recommend, Manchurian Chicken Dry, Chilli Garlic Paneer (cheese) dry and Chilli Garlic Chicken Dry. Manchurian Lamb Dry, Chilli garlic Fish. Also, their Corn+Chicken soup is to DIE FOR as you wait for your main course. Beer is served here but its pretty expensive, as it is in bar avail. Restaurants. Wait times a pretty long but its Extremely worth it. I LOVE IT when the owner straps on a cook's towel and an apron and cooks for the customers.. This is the success behind this place, and my love for it. Consistency in TASTE! And the FLEXIBILITY to adjust to the customer's needs. Been coming here since 2013 I believe and will make my long trips just for that special taste. Great take out as well. Please work on your Dessert though, especially ice cream. Very limited choice and mango ice cream is...
