My experience at City South Pizza's Rivermount location was nothing short of a complete letdown – a dining ordeal that merits serious reconsideration for anyone contemplating a visit. I hesitate to assign even a single star to this establishment, as my encounter was marred by a series of disappointments that extended far beyond the realm of acceptable customer service.
The catalyst for my dissatisfaction was the unsettling discovery of a hair in my order of chicken wings. Attempting to address this hygiene issue, I called the restaurant, only to be instructed to visit the store in person to discuss the matter further. This, in itself, was an inconvenience, but little did I know it would escalate into an even more distressing situation.
Upon reaching the store and waiting for the owner's arrival, I hoped for a reasonable discussion about the lapse in food quality. However, what transpired was nothing short of shocking. The owner not only dismissed my concerns but accused me of planting the hair in the wings after consumption – an absurd and baseless claim. The attempt to find a fair resolution by suggesting a deduction for the affected wings was met with unwarranted aggression and verbal abuse.
To document this distressing encounter, I took pictures, including snapshots from a video capturing the owner's aggressive behavior. Regrettably, the situation escalated to the point where I sustained an injury during the confrontation, further underscoring the unprofessionalism displayed.
This experience has left me deeply disappointed, not just in the quality of the food but in the complete lack of professionalism and customer service exhibited by City South Pizza's Rivermount location. The disregard for customer concerns, baseless accusations, and aggressive behavior from the owner are all indicative of an establishment that falls far short of acceptable standards.
I urge potential patrons to think twice before considering City South Pizza's Rivermount location for their dining needs. Such a disappointing encounter raises serious questions about the values and practices upheld by this establishment, and it is my sincere hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale for those seeking a positive and respectful...
Read moreSo I live in this neighbourhood and when City South pizza opened up I wanted to try it but I kept putting it off. I ended up going a few days ago and it was delicious!. Firstly let me say it was a struggle just to order my pizza, most of the employees were students from India and didn't speak great English so it took a while to get them to understand what I was trying to order. I ended up ordering the "XL 1 topping pizza special" with my topping being pepperoni. What I was surprised by was the amount of free toppings they offered, they had crushed garlic, green chilies, cilantro/coriander, ginger and extra sauce as well as a free dipping sauce with each pizza. I went with the garlic, chilies and cilantro. When I took the pizza home and opened it it looked very beautiful like they made it for a food designing contest! It also tasted as good as it looked! the cheese tasted very real (not processed) and very fresh. The sauce was very good too, there was just enough so I don't recommend going with extra sauce. The pepperonis were also very tasted and they cooked just right, not burnt. The one thing that wasn't as good was the crust, I went with the thin crust but still tasted a bit bready but it still wasn't bad though. With everything combined the pizza tasted very Indian style, especially if you add the chilies and cilantro, this is far from a bad thing since it is different from all the other pizza chains. I would strongly recommend you to try this place out but it may not be for everybody if you don't like non traditional pizza but try it out 'cause...
Read moreI would give them zero stars if it was possible, I ordered a pizza from uber eats for in store pickup and I made a mistake while ordering it which was , I selected butter chicken base instead of selecting the actual chicken as a topping and then I requested them to make a new pizza with chicken and I told them that I’ll pay for it again but instead of making a new pizza they just threw the chicken on top of the same old pizza which was already made, I don’t know what there problem was even though I was paying for a new pizza they just gave me a pizza which was made almost an hour ago and on top of that they were rude with me, not at all professional!!!!!!
First edit-
Reply to there response(edited and added to the original review) :- Total rubbish reply, you guys never offered any other soulution other than adding chicken to the same pizza and no refund was offered and neither by uber nor by you guys so please stop lying.
Second edit-
Now after I edited my review and responded to there response they deleted there original response. They probably deleted it so that no one can see what kind of a unprofessional response it was. They blatantly lied about the situation that took place and said that I was offered a refund by them and uber, which is so untrue. This is the worst city...
