City South Pizza — Restaurant in Brampton

Food is always good here but today I had a weird experience. I got a deal for $16.75 plus tax and the guy behind the counter said the total with taxes is $20.xx which is not right (it’s $1.70 over ) . I asked again , he said it’s the taxes but 13% makes it’s around $18.xx . Anyways I paid and left but it is really a weird and bad tactic to make lil extra money .definitely gonna be careful next time ordering here and making sure total is right .

To response to owners reply , this flyer is on your website so maybe update your website and when I ordered on the call i confirmed the deal and I even showed the same photo to the person working that night at the store when he said the total was $20 something because taxes but it’s the same deal. I won’t know anything about the flyer being from last year , I don’t see any date on it . If it’s on the website that day , I as a customer would think it’s a valid promo .plus your staff never told me anything about whatever you’re saying right now . He said “ it’s the taxes ,you have to pay that too” . I picked up the order at 1 am , I just didn’t realized until I got home that it does not add up to 13% . If what you’re saying is true , I wish your staff said that to me that day , it would have saved my time putting this review and your time responding to it . If you want to put it on the customer instead of accepting this negligence of your staff , I can’t do...

We ordered veg pizza with tomatoes in it and they gave us pepperoni instead of tomatoes. We do not even eat non-veg. They have to be careful about these things. People are trusting them and they are making these kind of mistakes. Worst service, never going back. Be careful and rethink before ordering.

Ok, this is a reply to your reply. Large pizza comes with 10 slices and we were six people eating it. Everybody picked their slice, started eating and then we realized that it is not tomatoes. So, we came back to your shop with 2 full &2 half slices in it. Moreover, about showing the pizza to customer. I think you have to train your staff on that again because they are not doing that. Please check your camera as a proof of that. And about our realizing that it is pepperoni. It was fully covered with cheese. Before eating it we were thinking that you guys forgot to put tomatoes. About refunding it, i think you have to do that because the order that you gave us was not right. Even your staff offered us new pizza with refund, but we said no for pizza because we can't trust you any more. And about this review, i am putting this because i don't want any other person to eat pepperoni instead...

I am SO IMPRESSED with this place.

I ordered an XL pizza that was half vegetarian and half non-veg. The toppings on the whole pizza were Pineapple, and the free toppings, i.e. coriander, garlic, ginger, and green chillies. On one side, I got tandoori chicken, and the other side I got tandoori paneer, both of which counted as 2 toppings. I got the shahi paneer sauce as the base.

I requested the person on the phone to be generous with the sauce and toppings, and generous they were. The pizza was SO flavourful and filling. The paneer and the chicken were both very-well marinated, though I found the paneer to be much tastier than the chicken, and will definitely be ordering that again. The city south team should be very proud! You all work hard, treat your customers with respect, and make a great pizza!
