I placed an order for delivery. The order was delivered in good time but to my surprise there was shrimp, beef and chicken found in one of the dishes, the shanghai thick noodles. When the order was placed I was assured that no meat kind comes with Shanghai thick noodles, only vegetables. I have ordered these noodles many times over the years, and being a vegetarian for over 30 years, am in the habit of ensuring no meat. I called the next day to advise of the "error" made with my order. After several attempts, I finally spoke with the same person who had taken my order the night before. He proceeded to tell me that he had remembered my order being the last order of the evening and then he blatantly lied about our conversation and the nature of my order. Instead of offering and apology for the mistake, he lied and said that when ordering I did not specifically ask that there not be any shrimp, chicken, beef or meat of any kind, he actually assured me that it came with vegetables only. So why lie? . It was obvious we do not consume meat from the nature of our order and conversation. Golden Palace has lost a customer, I WILL NOT order from this establishment again and I will tell all my friends and encourage anyone I meet not to patronize this establishment. Not because of the "mistake" with my order or the $14 for the item but because of Golden Palace's lack of Integrity. I do not want to consume anything from any establishment that doesn't know how to treat its customers with care and honesty. I had made three phone calls to Golden Palace (torbram road) to discuss this and still haven't heard from a manager or even been asked if there were any food allergies...

I have been ordering from this place for the past 4 years and have had no problems with it. Recently, about a year ago my girlfriend had tried this place out and immediately told me next day that she felt ill, with stomach cramps and diarrhea. So because,I have never faced such issues with there food i assumed her stomach wasnt used to the food....
Boy was i wrong. I recently ordered food from this restaurant, 2 days ago, and since then i have had nausea, vomitting, fever, diarrhea, and fatigue. Now I've never experienced such symptoms from a food restaurant before and am deeply sadden by such a fact. It has been ruled out to be food poisoning. I am deeply disappointed by this as this has been a chinese food store i hyped up. However, to experience vomiting 10 times in the past 2 days is unacceptable for me. Patrons need to know what they are signing up for when they decide to eat this food. I for one will no longer order food from here as these symptoms has clearly ruled out for me my patronage at this establishment.
Also, this establishment does not have an automatic door button. I for one who has a broken foot and is on crutches was rather shocked by this. Im quite certain majority of establishment are to have ways and means for patrons to enter and exit the facility in a safe way. This establishment did not have this which was rather upsetting. Further amplifying my disappointment.

We ordered $85 worth of food and they made a mistake and gave us chicken balls instead of breaded shrimp. I drove during rush hour to come pick this food up. By the time we got home and took everything out of the 2 bags, that's when we noticed the error. We called them to inform them of the situation and that we wanted our food that we ordered delivered for their mistake. After being put on hold they argued with us that they wanted us to RETURN the chicken balls that they gave us in error and charge us $5 for delivery. Tell me, what are you going to do with the chicken balls you gave to us by error? Re-heat them and give them to another customer? Gross right? They REFUSED to deliver it unless we paid them $5 for delivery. We asked them to pay us $5 to come pick it up which they also refused, as if our time and gas money has no relevance due to their mistake. They are 100% lucky I didn't put this on my credit card because I would absolutely be filing a complaint and getting my money back via chargeback. Let this be a lesson to ANYONE ordering here, NEVER pay cash/debt and if this is the type of business practice you want to support, you deserve what you get after reading my review. Save yourself the headache by walking away and ordering from another chinese place. Absolutely disgusting behavior and I'll be sure to additionally contact the food inspection association. Great way to lose a dedicated customer over $5! Go get yourself a reality check! Mistakes happen, but it's how you handle the situation...
