I have been going to this clinic for years now and it is absolutely amazing!

Doctor Sud and his team of professionals are extremely kind and knowledgeable. Over a year ago I found out I needed glasses (which I hate wearing), and it was at this time Dr. Sud introduced me to Ortho-k (hard contacts I wear overnight and wake up with practically perfect vision without the need for glasses or contacts during the day). Having no prior knowledge on this, Dr. Sud took the time to explain what Ortho-k was, how it works to correct my vision, and exactly how I could insert, remove, and take care of them with ease, and I couldn't be more grateful. He answered all questions I had and ensured that I understood everything before deciding to start it. I started Ortho-k over a year ago and have never had any issues with the lenses. Although they took some time to get used to as I am someone who never wore contacts prior to this, I can now easily insert them before I sleep and remove them in the mornings when I wake up. The contacts are specific to my eyes and each is a different colour so I never have worry about forgetting which is for my left/right eye. The cleaning process is also fairly simple and very easy to learn. It only takes a couple of minutes and I no longer require glasses or anything else to see and I couldn't be happier about it. I’ve been seeing Dr. Sud since I was a kid, and I can honestly say he’s the best optometrist I’ve ever had. He’s incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, caring, and always honest. Over the years, Dr. Sud has never steered me wrong with any advice for my eyes or tried to upsell me on eyewear or treatments I didn’t need. It’s rare to find such integrity in healthcare today.

My whole family sees Dr. Sud, and I trust him so much that I now take my own daughters to him as well. He’s just as great with kids, making them feel comfortable and at ease. Beyond his excellent care, Dr. Sud is just a genuinely kind person who really cares about his patients.

The office staff is equally impressive. Sandy, the original receptionist, and the entire team are exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and organized. Every visit has been smooth, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The reception team is always on top of everything, with a smile and positive attitude.

Upon calling to schedule an appointment for my child, I expected a straightforward discussion about the doctor's availability. However, the receptionist's primary concern appeared to be checking OHIP coverage and delving into details about my child's previous visit. While I am willing to pay for my child's eye examination, it was disheartening that the focus shifted away from facilitating a suitable appointment.

The lack of emphasis on helping me find an appropriate slot for my child's visit left me feeling dissatisfied. Ideally, a medical office's priority should be aiding patients in accessing necessary care rather than placing undue emphasis on administrative details like insurance coverage. It would be more constructive if the staff could streamline the appointment process, ensuring that patients receive the assistance they need promptly and efficiently.
