GRILL & CHIK 'Best Grilled Chicken in Town' — Restaurant in Brampton

I didn't want to post this review, but felt I had to after my experience. I have been coming here since the opening and have always had the best customer service! I placed my order at 3pm, was told it would be 15-20mins. I arrived at 3:35pm only to be told my order was not ready. I paid and was told 5mins. After 15 mins. Mgr told me he understands and and I was right to be upset. I wouldnt have been upset if they would have called me out of courtesy to let me know that they were super busy and my order is going to be a little delayed. If this was the case, I would have had a choice whether to drive from Brampton to pick up the order. I placed the order to coordinate with my time to pick up my grandkids from school. I understand how things can get crazy at times, but I wasn't given the opportunity to decline to ensure the kids were picked up on time. the Mgr did offer to deliver the food, but that did not help as my grandkids had to be picked up from Klienburg and brought back to my home in Brampton. Came to this restaurant for the first time because i was hungry and wanted to try something new. My first impression walking in was the environment looked quite dirty, i still proceeded to order because i was already there. I then ordered their lunch special which was chicken and rice, when i was waiting for my meal the girl there was putting her bare fingers in the container then i asked her to give me a different container because i dont know where her hands have been. Then i got my food and left and opened it and saw some green fuzz in my rice so I brought it back right away and told/showed the owner and he gave me a new plate of food right away. When i got the new plate of food it was much better, it was steaming hot and fresh, the chicken tasted very good! But I wasn’t a very big fan of the rice. I have heard about a new BBQ 🍗 chicken restaurant that serves good and honest food. So I ordered some dishes through SKIP.

I ordered the chicken 🍗 platter with rice 🍚 and onion 🧅 rings as sides. It also comes with garlic 🧄 bread 🥖 as well.

I also ordered 6 pieces of the popcorn chicken.

I chose the mild sauce and they provided a ton of it for your enjoyment.

The char on the chicken was fantastic. You can taste the BBQ flavour. It tasted great. The chicken was well seasoned and it was moist and juicy. The same goes for the kebab. But I did not taste 👅 any BBQ on it which was strange because I thought it was BBQ as well.

The popcorn chicken was delicious and flavourful.

I am happy all in all. I will return to try other items on the menu.
