I truly regret choosing this place, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing on multiple fronts.
Let’s begin with the servers. When I asked for recommendations—across two different sections of the menu—they admitted they had no idea about the dishes. That, in itself, set the tone. Once the food arrived, there was no follow-up, no check-in, no sense of attentiveness. It felt as if their role ended the moment the plates hit the table.
The food itself was mediocre at best. To add to this, when the noodles were served, they arrived without the usual sides of vinegar and soy sauce. What struck me most wasn’t just the oversight, but the complete lack of awareness that followed—no one noticed, no one approached. I had to leave my table and fetch the sauces myself from the reception.
What saddened me further was the complete absence of inclusivity for children with special needs, particularly autistic children. A truly welcoming dining space should make efforts to be more understanding, accommodating, and thoughtful, but here, there was no sign of that consideration.
The entire evening felt impersonal, as if the restaurant were simply going through the motions. Just another day, just another guest, just another restaurant. Sadly, nothing memorable—except the regret of...
Read moreI visited Nepali momo house and Hakka cuisine at Mclaughlin on the 14th of February 2025 but to my horror the service was “bad” . I would not go there again. They served one of the starters at a time and got by beer when the starter was done then they got the chicken ko they momo which was OK to taste but again cold. For the main course they missed one of the items, though the server had helped us choose from the menu only got the shrimp chicken fried rice which was good to taste but cold . upon reminding on the other main course which was to go along with the fried rice , got it but we had lost our appetite so got it packed!! We had asked for mango milkshake but didn’t get it and they took 23 minutes to get the bill . I wanted my husband to see & feel the Nepali music & food but it was largely disappointing. U don’t think that i would even do a take away from there.please up your service game & crowd cannot be used as excuse , the booking should have been done accordingly. More the customers better should be the service so that people will come and get new ones. The music was great but the sound could be a little less so that a conversation can be...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed. While the momos were good in my previous visits, the service has been consistently poor recently. I’ve always had high expectations, but today was the last straw.
I picked up steamed chicken momos and, upon getting home, found that the sauce portion was ridiculously small—barely enough for four momos. Despite having ordered extra sauce, the total amount in both containers was far from enough to cover even half the order.
I called to address the issue, and the person on the phone was polite and understanding, acknowledging that it was a mistake made by a new employee and offering a replacement order. However, the manager flatly refused, stating they could only provide extra sauce, and only if I drove all the way back to the restaurant—something I was not willing to do at 9 PM, especially when it was an error on his teams side.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for something and not receive what you’ve rightfully paid for. I strongly recommend checking your entire order before leaving, as it’s clear they don't care about delivering the...
