I walked into the location of: 345 Queen St W Unit 6, Brampton, ON L6Y 3A9. Ordered 2 cold cut combos. When I went to pay in cash, I handed them the coupon I'd rec'd in my mailbox & they said the coupon is NOT valid! (Without even checking anything). I'd said I'd said it's GOOD until October sometime (clerk looked at date) & it also states "build your own subs" (which I did), she looked again. Then, on the spot, her story CHANGED to: It's been redeemed already (But she had not checked anything & I literally JUST handed it to them the coupon not used before)! I'd said it's a flyer me & all my neighbours got in our mailboxes. I'm sure it's the same for all houses. Why would you say it's "been redeemed?". Then she said "the system is not accepting it". They didn't give me the coupon back the coupon even after asking & I'd said: "Well I don't want this order then! " NOT yelling but firm. Her face "dropped"/ bottomed: shocked their extortion for a couple bucks didn't work. She was at a loss for words as I just walked out. Update: HOW COULD THE COUPON HAVE BEEN "USED" WHEN I JUST HANDED IT TO YOU?? I was there too. Basically you don't honour your coupons. Then come back with such a stupid response??? If you honoured YOUR own coupon, I would have paid, the $ was in my hand!! So, you lost profit on this & any/ALL future business. Hope it was worth it. I had only my debit card and no cash she told me she cannot accept it. i had to leave without a drink!!! She didnt even give me my money back! I usually go to this place once or twice a week for lunch, Because of their lack of customer service (20cents greed!!!!)I am never going back to this place!!! Drive a little further and go to any other subway! Its worth it! They’ve hired some new girl who is too busy talking to the guys hanging out there to pay attention to what she’s doing and then proceeded to completely mess up an Uber order and then put me in “hold“ and laughed about it with a coworker while I was on “hold” because clearly she’s an idiot. Then she called her supervisor who then told her to tell me I could come pick it up. My kids don’t drive, it was for them. I was at work. So explain to me how your screw up now puts me in this predicament. I don’t understand how you “forget” to scroll through an order?? It’s a receipt!! You just have to read it! It’s not difficult!
