I placed a plan ahead order, called the day I placed it, and the the 2 days later when it was to arrive. They dodged my calls the Monday they delivery should of taken place and I had to call 9 times in a row only to be told that the delivery driver didn't show up and that I should come pickup my order. being from out of town, I didn't have a car, I was using taxis. I suggested that they can call a Cab and arrange delivery as I was required in the meeting the food was ordered for. At the end of the day, the food was 1.5 hours late. They failed to bring plates, napkins, cups and on top of it all, they were missing some of the Pizza's I ordered so some people went hungry. They waived 50% of the bill which was nice, but when its a business meeting the embarrassment is not worth the few bucks I saved. I took every step possible to ensure this was a smooth delivery, including calling ahead of placing the order, Calling at 1030am the day of the order 1.5 hours in advance of the requested delivery time and was given no indication there was an issue until 30 minutes after they missed delivery time, and 9 of calls being ignored before they would answer the phone to tell me what the issue was. At the end of the day it was a miserable interaction. The Pizza that was delivered was in fact as good as you would expect from Papa Johns. The Manager was very apologetic also, very friendly and I believe they were sincere. However this doesn't change my almost complete frustration in how it was handle realtime the day it happened. Read moreFirst of all I was owed a free pizza because I ordered thru Uber eats and they messed up my pizza and Uber would not refund me because it was the restaurants fault. The manager didn't want to even compensate me until I told him I will reach out to higher management. He put in for a free large "the works " pizza. I went like half an hour ago to pick it up and they gave me the wrong pizza. They gave me the meats pizza but I didn't bother to say anything until I was eating and I found something extremely hard in my pizza. There was a large piece and a smaller piece . I swallowed the smaller piece and caught the bigger piece. It's not food . It's really hard like bone hard. Only the tip of it snapped off , it can't even break in half. I am 9 months pregnant giving birth this week & I am disgusted & I no longer trust this restaurant. They are unhygienic. The photo does not do justice , I do have a full video of the object with us trying to break it in half proving how hard it is. The fact that I swallowed the smaller piece not knowing what it is and I'm pregnant makes me really upset. I will be reporting this to higher management. They advised next time call and give your phone number as we have our own system for pizza credit. I called today and asked for the credit. The csr on the phone after taking my phone number said we do not have your phone number in our system, when i said i always order from same phone as i have s number from last 5 year. But she refused to acknowledged and advised that its not her problem she do not have my phone number in system, when asked her name she rudely shouted on me and said do whatever you want to do and refused to tell her name and said my name is papa johns and again said do whatever you can do and disconnected the call. Just an advise i never asked for free pizza its you guys given credit for not doing your job properly and after asking for before investigating you just shouting on customer as if someone just called to get free pizza.
