Visited Paranthe Wali Gali on a Saturday afternoon for lunch to try their famous paranthas. The restaurant ambience is decent and we were seated in a few minutes upon arrival. We waited for sometime and then Jashan, the server for our table arrived who was nice and presentable. We ordered a variety of vegetarian stuffed paranthas (Potato/Cauliflower/Raddish). We were told that it would take about 30 minutes for all the paranthas to be ready and any additional request after that will take another 30 minutes so we decided to order everything at once instead of waiting again. I didn’t quite understand the rationale behind this as paranthas were being made one after the other for almost every other table. We thought we would be served water but when it wasn’t, we asked the server and were told that they would provide a bottle of water along with some glasses. Normally, most of the restaurants would serve water in the form of a jug or small bottles when seated. I was surprised to see that the bottle of water was charged $2.00 in the bill which was something I wasn’t made aware of. This was disappointing and we should have been informed upfront that water would be charged. One can buy a full case of water from outside at that price. A restaurant that seems to get so much business is charging for water ? Very unusual. All the paranthas ordered were delicious and crispy but I liked the Raddish parantha the most as that’s my favourite and the spices added in it were different than the others. The paranthas had slightly more oil to make them crispier but that can be avoided if possible. The Dal Makhani served along with the paranthas was excellent and tasted very authentic. The yogurt also was very fresh, creamy and thick which I really enjoyed. I felt that the price of one plate of parantha was high compared to other Indian restaurants that also specialize in paranthas. After we were done with our lunch, we were asked to leave a Google review before leaving. I honestly did not like this idea of asking customers to provide a review immediately after their meals and so I told the server that I would surely leave a review but later to which he agreed. Overall, our experience was fine but I would suggest the restaurant to seriously consider the concerns that have been addressed above.

The over all experience was average. The paratha was amazing really liked all of them but the service was very bad. The server who served us, was Saloni she insisted to order at one go and said we can’t re order. We were not sure we wanted one more but she said we can’t order again so we were left with no option and ordered extra paratha. I don’t understand this marketing tactics pushing customers to order only once. We SPECIFICALLY told her we want the extra paratha’s later after what we have ordered for first round. We waited for almost 30 mins to receive our first set of order and then they got the second order immediately along with the first one. Though we had not started eating the first paratha itself. They dint even take it back and said after ordering we have to take it. The second paratha had become cold by the time we finished first one. This was really disappointing which I dint expect. Why do we have to pay to eat cold paratha and for this kind of poor service. The Niagara location was much better than this. First of all making us order in first go is not correct and getting everything together is more annoying. Though I want to revisit for good food due to this kind of poor service I am very disappointed to go back.

I visited Parathe Wale Gali today, and had an amazing meal. I ordered the Masala Lassi, Elaichi Tea, Chicken Spinach Paratha, and Achaari Paratha. The food was absolutely delicious! The masala lassi was creamy and flavorful, perfectly spiced. The elaichi tea had just the right aroma and taste to complement the meal. The parathas were freshly made and piping hot, with the perfect amount of crispiness on the outside and fluffiness inside. The Chicken Spinach Paratha was a standout with the flavorful chicken and spinach stuffing inside the paratha. The Achaari Paratha had the perfect tang from the pickled spices. You could really taste the freshness and homemade quality in every bite. Equally wonderful was the attentive service provided by Siddhi. He ensured our orders were correct, arrived quickly, and checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything else. His friendly and prompt service really added to our enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Parathe Wale Gali for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine and excellent service. The food is phenomenal and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back again soon to enjoy more of their amazing parathas and hospitality. A 5-star dining experience!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I came here before didn’t have a problem service was a little slow but nothing more than that. Today was my second time coming here. I ordered a paratha with extra spice and they brought it out and it was unbearably spicy. It seemed as if they scooped a handful of chilli and put it in. After mentioning that I can’t eat this they told me if they give me a mild one I have to pay for both. When I didn’t even eat the first one. They were very unprofessional and were arguing back and forth in the middle of the restaurant. The server with the turban has zero customer service experience he told me they only do refunds if they are wrong but clearly they are never wrong. After arguing for over 20 min I also had a one year old baby who was crying and uncomfortable but they were still arguing over a 10$ paratha. After all that they came to a conclusion to give me another mild one but who feels like eating after all this embarrassment. All they care is about money they don’t care about customer or the customer experience very poor customer service. They need hire staff that are more qualified and not just pay students on cash.

Went to this place on Sunday on a recommendation of a friend. Had different kinds of Paratha (stuffed flat bread). We ordered Moolie (white reddish), Aloo pyaz (potato and onion), lakhnavi (with cheese), plain lachaa (plain flatbread) and in curries Bhindi(okra) and chicken saag (spinach) and an appetizer of chicken lollipop. Taste: amazing taste, we loved each and everything. Layers of paratha were thin and crispy, exactly the way it should be. Spices were the n point, not too much over power the taste of vegetables in them. Overall wonderful food, Loved It!!! Atmosphere and Ambiance: its not very fancy place but i can say its cozy. We arrived early at close to 1:15, this is the time they open so we found seating immediately. But in about another 15-20 mins place was packed which explains their food is widely loved. Staff were very patient and polite. Muskaan attended our table, she was kind and attentive. And couple of other folks who came to check if we are sorted. So lot of respect for them!!!! Overall a wonderful experience, would love to go back again. Keep up the good work!
