Peggy's — Restaurant in Brampton

This was our second time at Peggy's for breakfast and we enjoyed it as much as our first time. The food is delicious, the place is small but clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The area is an industrial area so it's not an usual place for us to go for breakfast but we went there for the good food. I ate the breakfast with toast, pea meal bacon and eggs and my husband ate the one with 3 pieces of grilled chicken. We also had a coffee each. This time we were very happy that we got a chance to speak with the owner Peggy herself and learn about her family history, her current family and her entrepreneur zeal. She has also studied and taken the license and opened Peggy's opticals just beside her restaurant. She spoke of how much hard work is put behind the fresh cooked food that is sold at the restaurant. What also struck us as we were leaving was a plaque in the wall that was received by Peggy's this June from Sickkids for being a monthly donor for 9 long years. That is a business with a heart and I will always come back to support fabulous...

When your day starts at four AM as a bulk propane delivery driver and on your route you see Peggy's Cafe while going through a cafine fit it's only natural to immediately stop and reload that cafine urge... Not only did I fix the cafine urge I filled my belly with a beautiful delishes breakfast... Three thick slices of back bacon , three eggs and home fries that not only cured my hunger it gave me the energy to continue on my way ... I must also tell you you will NOT get better service anywhere in this city ... Peggy and the staff will greet you with amazing smiles , friendly personality's , and go above and beyond to treat you with dignity and respect.. Great variety of food to choose from. There is breakfast, souvlaki, chow mien, teriyaki, subs, sandwiches, desserts, pastries, pasta, patties, coffee, smoothies and many more. Try their Today's special, you will get your money's worth. Two fried chickens with fries or salad is 8.99 CAD plus tax.

If you want to grab a quick and cheap breakfast, this is the place to be. The chicken in the double decker sandwich is dry. The steak on the bun is flavourful; tasted like a beef teriyaki. I wish they had an option to substitute the toast to a bagel etc. There are no pancakes but the wide range of pastries, bread and donuts can compensate that.
