I normally don’t write reviews, but I feel this experience deserves to be shared. I visited this Subway location recently and had one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered at a food place.
When I walked in, I was genuinely in a good mood and simply wanted to order a sandwich. As I always do, I asked a couple of questions about the food—nothing out of the ordinary, just wanting to know more about the options available. To my surprise, the girl working (night crew) there did not respond politely or even neutrally. Instead, she immediately raised her voice at me, almost yelling back in a rude and disrespectful manner.
Customer service is supposed to be about patience, courtesy, and treating customers with respect. As a paying customer, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask questions about what I’m going to eat. Being yelled at for simply trying to make an informed choice about my food is completely unacceptable.
The whole encounter left me feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and honestly shocked. A simple visit to grab a sandwich should never make a customer feel like they’ve done something wrong just by asking a question.
I really hope management addresses this issue and provides proper training. Customers should feel welcomed and valued, not shouted at for asking about food. Respect and professionalism should always come first.
Until I see improvement in how staff treat customers, I would hesitate to come back to this location, and I would strongly suggest management take this...
Read moreI usually enjoy going to Subway, but my experience during the night shift at this location has been consistently disappointing. The woman working nights is extremely rude and unprofessional. Subway employees are ruining the quality of service at Circle K. Any time I try to ask a simple question about the food—like what’s fresh, or if something is still available—she either snaps at me or responds with visible annoyance. Also they never wear badges or name tags. They would never update their menu items whether in stock or not. Upon asking they almost yell at you and make you feel that you are dumb ordering food over there. I understand working late hours can be stressful, but that doesn't excuse treating customers like they’re a burden. I’m not trying to cause problems—I just want to know what I’m eating. Being yelled at for asking a question is unacceptable in any customer service setting. I won’t be coming back during the night shift anymore. If management sees this, please address it. Subway should be a place where people feel comfortable ordering food, not afraid...
