New owner. Took 25 mins for 2 burgers and fries. The large fry was a small fry compared to other wayback locations, but staff insisted it was a large fry. The staff were mixing up items between orders, pulling items out of take out bags and repacking them. It seems like no one knows what they are doing. I'm not even sure if I received the gluten free bun I ordered, I really don't feel safe eating this food. The whole experience is very uncomfortable, the owner is now standing out front of the store with his arms crossed glaring in my vehicle at me as I write this review.... Update: Burgers are missing the mayo and BBQ sauce and has one shred of tomato and a leaf of lettuce. Fries are soggy and old.

The place has only been open for a week or so but so far their food has been great and consistent. Tasty fresh beef burgers, lots of options for sauces and toppings, milkshakes, and even fresh made potato chips for a side. The place reminds me of a bit of Five Guys meets Fatburger, which is nice as I miss Brandon's old Five Guys location, so the burger reminds me a bit of their burger. I recommend the honey dill sauce for the potato chips, great combo! Since it's only days after opening, there will be quite a lineup out the door so it may take time to get your order.

The burgers look really good but I haven't tried them yet, however the chicken strips were not worth $10. They tasted like deep fried batter and had no flavoring, they were extremely small for the price. The Mac and cheese bites were over priced and tasted like cheap KD, something you could buy frozen in a box from a store. It was expensive, $27 for Chicken strips, Mac bites, a pop and a water which is kind of crazy. In my opinion not worth the price. They also only had 1 person working taking orders and making food so it took a while to get our food.

Wayback Burgers in Brandon, MB, is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and eager to ensure I had a great experience.

The highlight, of course, was the food. I ordered a classic Wayback Burger, and it exceeded all my expectations. The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The fresh ingredients and the attention to detail in preparation were evident in every bite. Their crispy, golden fries were the perfect complement to the meal.

What truly sets Wayback Burgers apart is their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and had a fun, relaxed vibe that made dining there a pleasure. I also appreciated the wide variety of menu options, catering to all tastes and preferences.

Overall, my experience at Wayback Burgers was fantastic. If you're in Brandon and looking for a top-notch burger joint with exceptional service and delicious food, Wayback Burgers is the place to go. I can't wait to...

They display these big juicy looking burgers, the particular burger I got had a bunch of crispy bacon, or so, it looked like that on the menu. When I actually got the burger, the patties were paper thin, (2 patties on that burger) I got literally 4 bacon strips that looked like they just put them right on the burger right out of the fridge as if not cooking them at all, I had go back to get them cooked. They're milkshakes are not hand-spun. They're delicious, but also very small for the high price. I was quite disappointed with the over exaggerated burger on the menu and then getting the real deal, was an absolute let down. Much too expensive overall for what u get, wont be...
