Pizza Express - Brandon — Restaurant in Brandon

Believe it or not I sit here in southern Florida googling Pizza Express and looking at the photos. 🍕 🍕 🥧 🥪 😂

I’m not sure if these are the same owners that owned the Winnipeg location and the Brandon location at the same time. I understand that the Winnipeg location is now no longer even there. I used to be a regular back in the 90’s and as far as I’m concerned Pizza Express had the very best Pizza that I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. It’s 3:00 in the morning and I’m hungry. I’m thinking about Pizza Express and missing it so much. I love the bacon, pepperoni and mushroom that is my ultimate pizza and Pizza Express has this amazing pizza sauce with a very unique aroma. I wish I could give no stars! This place has really gone downhill in the past few years! Pizza crust is no good and burnt most of the time, pasta always has curdled sauces, the meats in the subs are not as good quality as they once were, the appetizers are insanely over priced for what you get, and the poutines all look like someone took a dump on a plate. I’m amazed anyone recommends this restaurant as a place to eat when there are so many other great pizza places in Brandon (Marino’s, Romano’s, Little Italy, Astoria Pizza, etc.). The owners are also a nightmare and treat their staff like absolute garbage. They should honestly be ashamed of themselves, I know I would be! I accidentally discovered this amazing little place a few years ago when a coworker and I were heading back to Winnipeg from a job in Souris. We arrived to where we thought we ordered from only to find out that he had accidentally called and ordered from the wrong place so we went on an adventure to find where our mystery pizza had ended up and came across this little hole in the wall with an extremely friendly and personable lady behind the counter who shared a laugh with us when we told her our story.

That will forever be one of my favorite mix-ups because we never would have found this fantastic place. I still have not had a better pizza than I had from here and I always tell any friends that are heading that way to check out this place. You definitely will not be disappointed if...
