Shawarma Queen Donair Kebab Buffet — Restaurant in Brandon

I read the 1 star reviews first before ordering here and was so entertained by those reviews especially the replies of the owner 😂. Id like to see if there's a little truth behind those feisty comments. While gagging up laughing, I entered the store with a nonchalant face (1st time ordering) looking stupid as I dont know what to order... decided to try chicken shawarma wrap... cut the long story short.. I was greeted by the owner.. took my order.. and was asked step 1 step 2 step 3 etc. (I didnt know that itll take more steps than doing my nightly face care routine).. good thing owner was patient and I told him to just put everything on my wrap. His non verbal cue was like saying "olryt olryt thats not possible but whatever ill put everything as what you requested madam"...😂 I also ordered baklava! He took my payment, and voluntarily skipped the tip part and showed the total right away! (Oh yes).. he then asked me "which one is your car" --- at the back of my mind.. "Oh!! This is the part where the other customer said they were kicked out and asked to go to their car!"... so I just said the model of the car and was told that they will bring my food to the car. I dont know why the other customer felt the other way or theyre just onion skinned or just in the low analytical spectrum human being.. but theres nothing rude in any way the owner acted or spoke.

With the food, Ive been to middle east countries and I sooo miss the authentic taste and their shawarma just gave me a dejavu! Huhuhu... first bite and I imagine my little self biting my chicken shawarma , holding hands with my dad and mom while walking along the red sea ahuhuhuhu

Hey there the delivery guy you were taking about was me in your previous review and with all due respect Sir, I literally ask how much more time you would need (in a very polite way) as I have to update in skip app but at that point you shouted on me to quietly stand in a corner where as I was already standing there for more then 30 mins and you were literally talking to the previous customer for 15 min, (even you knew that the order were pending and I was waiting). I haven’t interrupt when you were talking to the customer even though they were ready with the order and already paid. ( I don’t mind at all as they were your customer) but at the same time you have to understand that someone is waiting for the food and I still have to deliver it and I have just ask how long will it take and they you reacted as I was your slave. Have some humanity and show some respect. And if you don’t remember then please check with your CCTV footage. I will never come back to your restaurant again. Please don’t take this message in wrong way, I know you can improve. So please learn your lesson and please DO NOT REAPET WITH ANOTHER PERSON. I haven’t scream or did personal attacks on staff. Great Food, Great Value – Just Ask for Sauce on the Side

We stopped by Shawarma Queen in Brandon for the second time, and once again, the food did not disappoint. It’s easily one of the best value fast food places in town. The portions are generous, and the flavors are on point. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming — always smiling and making sure customers are taken care of.

One tip: I’d recommend asking for the sauces on the side. While they taste great, they were a bit too much for my liking, especially when mixed directly into the rice and meat. I ended up removing about 80% of it. Having control over how much to add would make the meal even better.

If I could suggest one small improvement for the space: replacing the older, red buffet-style sofas with newer, more compact tables could really modernize the place and make it feel more like a true fast casual restaurant. Just a thought for a future upgrade.
