I have been disappointed the last few times visiting this Harvey's location. The restaurant's floor and bathroom are filthy, tables aren't wiped often enough and even the food has been suffering. I ordered a quarter chicken meal today, as this location serves Swiss Chalet and the chicken tasted off, and was also unseasoned. The Chalet sauce was like orange water, it was so thin and runny and I was not given butter for my roll (no big deal but added to my frustration).
I was happy with the offer to change my food order to a burger without incident, after being told "that's just how the Chalet sauce is today".
Visiting the washroom was a terrible experience, floor was filthy, and one of the stalls doesn't even have a door lock.
Get it together Harvey's. Your only plus side is the friendly staff you have working for you!

Gave this location another shot tonight using the drive thru. This killed any chance of me ever going back again! Our server was so incredibly slow and rude. I waited at the window for a solid 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged and then he tells me "three eighty" while grabbing my Scene card and coupon - when I asked "pardon?" (because my order definitely did not come to $3.80 or $380.00, it came to $37.81) he closed the window and then proceeded to come back a moment later to shove the debit machine at me and slam the window shut again. I waited 2 minutes with the debit machine in hand before he comes back and now shoves my bag of food into my hand and then realizes he now needs to get our drinks (which were flat and room temperature, and no straws) so he sauntered off incredibly slowly and took 3 another 3 minutes for 2 drinks.
Save yourself the headache, the wait and the lack of customer service skills. Hit up the Gretzky Parkway location instead, no Swiss Chalet but at least they are on...

Drive all the way home to find the double burg that was suppose to be normal had tomatoe onion lettuce and some kind of spicy sauce that burned my mouth . . So we drive all the way back I told them an origional no cheese and no hot sauce and with all other normal toppings . I get to the window had the burger in hand it had a lick out of it bc i tasted the sauce when we first got our order. They actually took it in unwrapped the burger pulled it apart and told me I ordered the worksš”I did not ..... the burger was on a counter where other food gets placed. They said 6 mnths ago harvey sauce was added as a topping . I said ok but still theres no ketchup mustard relish etc . I also watched as the girl moved the burger to the other side . I am not sure where but she continued working wearing the same gloves . I told who I think was owner/manager make sure she changes her gloves bc she is suppose to . Also we weren't feeling well .Sore throats headaches etc and it was in our truck and my mouth was on it. No appology for thier mix up ..nothing then ...... I get home it was a dbl burg lettuce dbl pickle onion š¤š„“šš¤š¤š¤šāāļøI'm like how is this possible ? I should have said when they asked what would you like? I should have replied anything just throw something together for me charge me top price and show 0 manners . Thats exactly why I stopped going there over a year ago. The last time I tried to complete my order at this restaurant to receive a discount, it told me the time would not allow it for some reason, which didn't make any sense. The staff were also not co-operating. They stopped other customers from ordering by not knowing how to deal with this issue. They were also not willing to give us any another deal. I was so upset at the end of trying to order and getting no where with any of the staff, I started asking the supervisor her name and the name and phone number of the manager as the service was so awful. As I did this, one of the supervisors male friends who was standing buy the food counter, was there getting free food, and got mad when I asked for the name and number. Maybe it was his gf. He then took off his shirt in the store, started yelling and wanted to fight. This was a friend of the supervisor working in the store as she was talking with him prior and trying to get him to calm down. What a joke of a business. Not only could they not help our problem with the ap, they also blamed us for not using it correctly, which was not the case, they were not willing to give us another deal, and then their friends are there drunk in the store ready to fight the customers. I think the owner needs to find new staff or maybe corporate needs a new franchisee. Anyways, it will be reported to the head office, as I've never been so dissatisfied in quite some time with a restaurant, not to mention being threatened inside...
