I have been a loyal customer of this store for at least 5 years. I have overlooked mistakes because they do happen. I have called to let them know an item was too done or not done enough. But never really ever ask for a remake. Not only am I a loyal customer, but I'm loyal to the Combo #3 w/ pepperoni, mushroom, bacon, and green olive, I sometimes pay extra for red onions. Tonight, I did not stray. I, however, did not get what I ordered. I got Green Pepper instead of Green Olive. I called the store to try and find a solution for this issue. I wasn't upset, I was annoyed at the idea of having to pick off some toppings. However the young lady who answered the phone offered a replacement and I jumped at the offer. I could wait 20-30 min for a pizza I really wanted. So, no big deal. The big deal came a min or so later when I got a call back informing me that my dispute over Green olives was an issue. First, my gender came into question as whether it was a male or female who made the call to order the pizza in the first place. Then she proceeded to inform me that my order was read back to me and I confirmed it. I repeated the order to him 2x. My husband was sitting right beside me. It was the worst experience to get a replacement pizza I have ever had. I informed them I would NOT be returning to their store. Update I was called today by the owner and he apologized and offered to replace my pizza. I informed him I didn't want a pizza. I was still upset at the fact the my gender came into question and politely being called a liar. He called me 2 or 3 times today. I was still adamant about not waiting a pizza. I cut the conversation short because I was at work, I also informed the owner I was working. 30 mins later, I get a call from the store informing me that the owner is at my house with a pizza and someone needed to take the pizza. WHY Would he show up at my house while I was at work to deliver a pizza I didn't want. This...
Read moreOverall - 3/5 - Been going thru a phase where I am trying all the pizza places in Brantford to find my favourite & suprisingly althought being one of the closest places to my home I haven't tried pizza spot until recently. Maybe I expected to much with their high rating or maybe I've become a bit to critical of food but I wasn't overly impressed. Their pizza is better then some of the main chains but their is definately better available in town. I was quite disappointed when advised it would cost more to do a half the pizza with different items although the same number of items (each item although only on half the pizza is considered a full item, where most places would consider it half an item). Ill do suggest giving them a try, I am just pretty picky on my pizza. Personally, I will be back to try it again/something else and will update this accordingly. Food - 3/5 - I wasn't overly impressed. Items were fresh, crust was good, but for an extra cheese pizza it seems to lack that cheesy pull that makes a pizza earn 5 stars. Service - 3/5 - I was content with the service provided. Pizza was ready within the 30 minutes as advised. Quick and easy transaction. Wouldn't say anything blew me away. Also lost a star due to the policy on half & half pizzas... sometimes a man just wants a bit of variety lol Atmosphere - A small & cozy location at the end of a small shopping strip. Not sure if they had any seating to enjoy a slice of pizza, I will have to look next time I am in. Nothing outstanding, just a...
Read moreIf I could give 0 Stars I would. This place is horrible. The food tasted awful almost unedible and the service was even worse. Also they charge $8 for delivery. This is absurd since I live 5 mins away from this place. Also they don't tell you that they are charging so much. Any other pizza place I've ordered from had free delivery or a couple of bucks. When i asked why am i paying so much the delivery guy started to yell at me and argue that i'm wasting his time etc. and started yelling at me that i wouldn't tip him because of his rudeness. I told him to lower his voice because I had a baby sleeping upstairs and he continued to yell and say " Why didn't you go pick up the pizza yourself" I told him that I had a baby sleeping upstairs I couldn't leave the house. He then said " well that's what you pay for convenience." He was yelling so loud he woke up my sleeping child upstairs. When i called the actual restaurant they explained that they hire a delivery service and they can not control what he charges and I was paying so much because he had to drive from his home to the pizza shop to my house.... Not my problem. My over all experience with this place was horrible. If the food had been good I would have dealt with the bad service but it was horrible and I couldn't even...
