Edit: so since my last review there has been new equipment put in place of the old play equipment that was there and this is 100x better. My kids enjoy it so much more which is great because the park is almost like a one stop shop for kids lol with the splash pad and equipment. So I have updated to 5 stars now too as before I only had 4 stars.
Mohawk park is great for families with kids, dog owners, and nature lovers. They have a great play ground and splash pad for the kids too. There is pavilions that you can rent for family reunions, birthday parties or anything like that. There is also picnic tables through out that park to for you to use. You can get together with friends and play frisbee golf. Go for a stroll on the trails. They have a soccer field near the top. Plus they have a small hall you can rent out for events too. I love Mohawk park but I didn't give them 5 stars because even though they have the great play equipment for the kids(and it is in great shape) it's old been there since I was a kid and no updates since. I remember the old wooden equipment and the was a couple of different places you could go. Now it is only the big equipment or the smaller bus type jungle gym plus the splash pad. It has been a long time and I think it would be better if they put another play equipment some where in the park. It would be good for families to once again walk from one...

Read moreI love Mohawk Park. It's great for picnics, park dates, kids playdates, or a walk with a dog. There are three parking levels. First is a soccer field, I rarely use it. Second parking spot has a huge play park for kids. Third parking lot is a splash pad, plus another older area for kids to play. All throughout the park is disc golf, paths with benches with the occasional sign for exercises, benches and covered areas for eating, and a nice path to walk on. Many cyclists go through the park but I've never encountered an issue with crowding on the path. There is a bathroom, but no access in the cold months. Beautiful trees and Mohawk Lake is right next to the park, although I wouldn't go in the water or let dogs drink from it as it is very dirty. Still fun to walk to and throw...
