Certainly wasn't impressed by the lack of enthusiasm demonstrated by the staff who did not seem terribly eager to emerge from the kitchen and take my order. There were 3 or 4 of them back there, one was quite busy, the others seemed to be merely avoiding the front counter. When I finally was served, I ordered slices, and I'm sorry to say that the slices I got were pretty tired, sad, reheated-to-the-max, dried out slices you could imagine. I guess they felt guilty about it, because they included a few breadsticks, which were equally dried out (and cold). I don't know if they have a time frame in which they serve slices and eventually stop serving slices for the remainder of the day, but I was sure disappointed with what I was served. It's not something that makes me want to rush back for another purchase. If there ever IS a next time, I don't think I'll order slices, I'd try a whole pizza, though even the chances of that happening (based on my first impressions) would be pretty slim. On the plus side, the canned drink was cold as it should have been. The local birds should be happy with the breadsticks and the crusts from the slices, they were dry as all-get-out, and rock hard too. I hope they don't chip a tooth or dent their beak trying...
Read moreCompared to Toronto pizzas these are right up there. I used to get pizzas from Square Boy in Scarborough back in the 80s. They also had the best french fries ever! This was a different version, but I couldn't help feeling a bit nostalgic when I went to this one.
After googling eating places, we decided to come here to get our grub. The man came to greet us and suggested a couple of different large pizzas because we weren't decided on what to get. Boy were they ever good! Everyone in our party agreed that the pizzas were amazing.
Depending on what type of pizza you're craving, this restaurant serves a thinner crust with plenty of ingredients scattered throughout the pie. It is a different type of pizza than other places, in that the ingredients are chopped up smaller.
The only suggestion I would have in the next pizza I get from here would be to get extra cheese. I reckon each slice would be so filling that you might only be able to eat 2-3 slices.
I also noticed that the lady working here would "deliver" the orders as people waited in their cars. I thought that this was value added and very nice of her.
