I normally do not write these kinds of reviews however it seems like recently others are having an unpleasant experience at this particular location. I am only looking for basic customer service in this context nothing more. Pay for pizza and pickup without any other fuss or unreasonable expectations. Afterall, It's a pickup pizza location. Upon phoning in and confirming my order, including price, I showed up to pay for and pickup my pizzas. When I first arrived to the counter, there was alot of employees going about their job. The front cashier was busy looking down and filling out something and didn't even make eye contact with me and kept looking down asking me if I am here to pickup. Sort of rude not to even acknowledge a customer who's at the till ready to pay. Wasn't looking for any conversations just to pickup my pizzas ordered over the phone. It seemed like I was an annoyance even being there to pickup my pizzas. Totally weird vibes. Upon presented the bill, it was billed at full price without any pricing reflecting the confirmed as on the phone prior to pickup. When I asked about this, an employee (Asian girl) was being dismissive to me and said that's the price and basically insinuated that I was wrong and lying saying that was from an old price from long ago (how old? like 30 minutes ago over the phone old?). When I asked to speak to the manager. Sajin (as I found out) said she is the manager and that is the pricing. No adjustments or corrections even though I was told another price beforehand by Sahil (as I later found out). I told her briefly about the differing pricing over the phone and she said it was never given to me as if I had made it all up or something kinda attitude. I asked who took my call and no one seemed to know or care. Finally someone came forward (Sahil) and confirmed the price I had stated all along. We're talking nearly $20 difference than what was given to me over the phone. At which point, Sajin and the other call taker Sahil dismissed me and did not even apologize. At one point, the manager Sajin, said i could have the pizza's for free and as I was about to pickup the pizzas Sajin immediately grabbed the pizzas from my hands and took them behind the counter after she said I could have them for free presuming due to all the hassles. "Wow," I exclaimed in disbelief. She totally ignored me and proceeded to act as if I didn’t exist (is she possibly a high functioning autistic ?). I asked her name and store number to make a formal complaint about this whole ordeal and she told me to just "google it" with a bitter attitude while she looked away and proceeded to look down and fidget with something. This is the manager of Dominos? This place is seemingly run by immature and socially awkward individuals who act like children and have no customer service skills whatsoever. Was told one thing over the phone, came and verified with the person who made the mistake didn't even apologize nor the manager attempt to make it right in any way and was playing games. Stay away from this place as mentioned in other reviews, this place is poorly run and managed. Read moreRecently last week I was met with incredibly awful service. Made an online pick up order and was bewildered by not only the staff but the manager in charge of this location. I showed up to the Burnaby location coming in as a customer looking to make a pickup order, and I was met with workers who were doing their job making their pizzas. Only took a minute for a couple pizzas to be finished at the time, and they looked at me at the counter with confusion. Noticing my presence at the counter looking for service, not only did they look at me they in a confused manner they did not acknowledge my presence and continued on their work on the next orders. After 5minutes+ of standing at the counter was I asked "Do you need help?" to which I politely responded "Yes, I made a pickup order". The pickup order already 100% completed waiting on the shelf was sitting there as I watched these workers previously confused as to why I was there. The manager who was in sight relaxing on his phone took charge and asked me about the order to which I relayed the necessary information. At this point I was serviced and the pizza sitting there was given. Not only was this process taken longer than necessary for a regular customer either looking for a pick up order or interested in making an order, the online survey response was terrible. Amid with Domino's Pizza was "sorry to hear my experience was not up to par" to which he said he would relay the feedback to the team and "would love to make this right and see if we can earn back your business". I responded to Amid only 5 minutes after with a fair offer to earn my business back to which I was ignored. Read moreMy wife and I wanted to have pizza for dinner one night. She works late, so I placed a timed delivery order at 7pm, requesting the food to be delivered by 10:30pm, three and a half hours later. The order was for 2 large pizzas and cheesy bread. We live, at most, a 4 minute drive from this location.
My wife arrived home from work at 10:45 and still there was no pizza. By 11pm I called to the store asking for an update, to which the reply I got was "We are busy, it's out for delivery." and that was it. I didn't get an apology, an offer for a credit, anything of the sort. It was a half an hour late beyond its requested delivery time and I didn't even get a courtesy call.
10 minutes later I get a call which rings once and hangs up, which I assume to be the driver as it appears with a name and not the typical scam stuff. I call back but it goes right to a voicemail box which hasn't been activated.
5 minutes after that I finally get a buzz at the front door, to which the driver is casually on a personal call. He then gets to my door with no apology, STILL on a personal call on speaker phone and absolutely stinking of weed, and he left.
I have spent over 12 years in kitchens and food service. Nothing about this experience was acceptable. I have no inclination to order from them again if this is the standard for...
