We recently had the pleasure of visiting Kicking Horse Cafe, and it was an experience to remember! The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a modern and stylish ambiance that perfectly blends comfort and elegance. The decor is very inviting, with a perfect balance of contemporary design and cozy touches.
The highlight, of course, is the coffee. As a coffee enthusiast, I've tried many roasters, but Kicking Horse stands out above the rest. Their coffee is nothing short of extraordinary. The beans are expertly roasted to bring out the most exquisite flavors, and every cup is brewed to perfection. Whether you're a fan of a strong espresso or a smooth latte, they have something to cater to every palate.
The dining experience is equally impressive. The menu offers a delightful array of dishes, each prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a testament to the care and creativity that goes into the preparation. The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with their friendly and professional service.
In summary, this place offers an unparalleled coffee and dining experience. It's a must-visit while in Invermere for anyone who appreciates great coffee and a wonderful atmosphere. I'll definitely be...

I had no idea what to expect when I came here and saw the outside. When I entered I felt as though I had entered an art museum. The decor is incredible! It certainly set the mood for the incredible food creations had. The menu is right on the wall for all to see. ONE SUGGESTION would be to add a spotlight to better light the menu on the wall for people over 40 lol.
The Soup of the Day was a Sweet and Sour Soup with a bit of a spicy kick to it that was served with a freshly baked bun that melted in my mouth!
The Goat Cheese Beat Salad was heaven in my mouth. The presentation of the food is gorgeous 😍 the goat cheese is served as a breaded croquet that you break open and sample with each delicious bite of salad. The beats were fresh and delicious. The dressing compliments the salad rather than taking it over. 10/10!
The plating of the Mocha Latte was a piece of art as well. The engraved mountain in the middle of the platter is a replica of the mountain across the way. Every detail is so well thought out.
I feel so fortunate to have discovered this restaurant and look forward to coming back and sharing this special place...
Read moreUPDATE: this coffee shop has been closed for renos for 3+ years. It finally opened a couple weeks ago to the same great coffee and small foodstuffs. The decor and vibe are similar, but with more open space, more seating, and more light. All in all, it's an improvement.
The reason it's not 4 stars instead of the 5 I have it and still would is based on its loyalty program. For 15 years I've collected stamp cards here, earning free coffees, which I suddenly couldn't redeem during their renovations. Now that their open, the baristas claim they'll get this going again, they just need to tweek their systems to accomodate the loyalty program. Frankly, I'm skeptical. Not sure what they need to do to their systems to stamp cards and give away a coffee. In the meantime, I'm remaining loyal but not getting stamps. I'll do this for a short time, but failing their program starting again, I've adjusted to then not being open and there's lots of options in the Valley .
Original review: Modern vibe coffee shop with excellent on site roasted coffee (Kicking Horse beans can be found in grocers around western N. America). Great food supplied by local...
