Momo Sushi — Restaurant in British Columbia

If only I could give 0 star I would. We placed a takeout order at 5:30 pm to be ready for pick up at 7 pm. We arrived earlier than we thought around 6:30 pm from the airport. They told us it's not going to be ready until 7pm because the rolls in the party tray will take a while. We patiently waited and added a few more rolls because we were hungry and they told us it will be ready. We took a walk and came back around 7:15pm and asked them about our order. We did see some boxes ready on the counter so we thought it was ours. Only it ended to be the lady who order at the place after we initally walked into the store. This is when it makes us wonder how much longer it will be for something that's supposed to be ready at 7 pm and ready before the countless orders after us. Unfortunately, the lady told us they only have a few things ready and they have not even started our party tray. They were super unorganized, understaffed and not even apologetic. They did absolutely nothing to get our orders ready on time. If you can't organize when an order come in, I don't know how you guys do business.

To be honest, when someone asked for the order to be ready at 7 pm and you said okay you have to do it. Otherwise, my advice to you is to go to some business management lesson and learn how not to pissed off your customer. I was glad that I am only arrived from airport not going to the airport. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE to sum it all. Out of the order, we got basically three dishes (two of them just deep frying) - the three dishes probably takes about 15-20 minutes but we waited for 2 hours plus they have not done the 2 party trays and about 6 other rolls. See what I meant by "I don't know how the heck the business is still alive" - you turned a $250 order into $50 plus 8 very unsatisfied customers......

Good luck maintaining your business! My advise to people who need to be punctual or have stuff to do after your meal - Please do not come here because you will be...

The worst experience ever for ordering food! I'd honestly give it a 0 star rating if I could! We put through a take out order at 530pm for pick up at 7 for a group of 8. We arrived at the restaurant to pick up our order earlier at 630 and asked if everything was ready. The lady at the front said that it wasn't as pick up was for 7pm. Reasonable. We walk around the area to wait for the order and we get back to the restaurant at 715pm. Asked the lady again and she said that not all the order was ready...I mean if our pick up time was 7pm and our order isn't ready at 715pm...there's an issue isn't there? It doesn't take you 2 hours to make the food...and if it does, it should definitely be ready by 7pm if we ordered at 530! We had somewhere to be at 730pm. In the end, we only got 3 dishes out of the 2 party trays and extra rolls we ordered. Most of it was deep fried tempura...very disappointing! The lady's attitude wasn't the greatest either. The guy in front of us had his tempura order sitting for 20 minutes and when he asked about it, the lady said "it's cold but still crispy so it should be still good"...seriously?? I would never come back here again after this experience,...

I’d give 0 stars if I could. My friend placed a takeout order (2 party trays) at 530pm to be ready by 7pm. We arrived a bit earlier at 630pm cause we came from the airport. They told us it won’t be ready until 7pm. We decided to order a few more rolls as we were afraid it wasn’t enough - we had to leave to be somewhere else before 730pm and they ensured us it’d be ready. We leave and come back around 715pm, we still them preparing takeout assuming it was ours, but it turned out it was for a lady who ordered after us...we go ask them how much longer it might take - apparently they only had a few of the rolls ready and haven’t even started our sushi tray yet! They were extremely unorganized, understaffed and didn’t bother to do much to try to make up for it.

And one other customer before us doing pickup also said that the tempura he ordered was sitting on the counter for over 20mins as he was waiting for his sushi to be made so it would’ve of been all...
