Mei Wei Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in British Columbia

I am extremely disappointed in the service that I saw among these 2 girls that were behind the till today one of the girls I am pretty sure it's the daughter's owner not only did this happen to me this happened 22 other customers that were waiting tonight only was there no lock of communication but there was also no apology sent there was no discount sent and there was no customer service at all

The girls that were standing behind till were completely lost had no idea what they were doing orders were coming from the back onto the counter they were not looking at them they were not executing them there was another blonde girl that was not only serving all the guests that were in the restaurant but also was giving out the takeout orders not too sure why the other 2 were there as a manager I would have sent both of them home

For me there was a gentleman waiting and his order was on the counter from anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes neither one of those girls ever communicated anything to him ever asked him anything didn't even look at the order that was sitting on the table then when my order came in the same 2 girls that were sitting behind till once again didn't look at the order I had to go app to them and let them know that I placed this order at 12 PM today for it to be ready at 530 they let me know that they have no idea how long it's gonna take when I proceed to ask them How long am I waiting for the owner's daughter said I don't know where really busy so can somebody go to the back of the kitchen and askAnd come back and let me know or give me my money back

Then when the blonde girl came she then proceeded to come ask me for my phone number again and she then told the owner's daughter that the order is sitting right here I grabbed that order and I said there was no communication said because she asked the other girl what happened I said there was no communication I grabbed my order and I even said disgusting none of those girls behind till once apologized not even the blonde girl there was no discount sent and there was no apology sent I will be sending this message all over every social platform to never come eat at this restaurant ever again There are much better places to eat and do not even get a apology Never spend...

(it makes me give one start to review BUT i would give it Negative starts if I could) I think the best part of this restaurant is that it is a short 1 minute drive to White Spot. The ownership at this establishment is a complete joke. We went there a few months ago and received horrible service with the food being nothing more than a disappointment. Sunday night we were having a craving for chiness food so being optimistic i thought to give MeiWei another chance, BOY WAS THAT A MISTAKE. We arrived around 5:15pm and could tell immediately they were busy, being that it was fathers day it was understandable. We seated ourselves and were eventually given menus and placed our orders. I expected the long wait for food as you could visually see the people waiting for there takeout orders, but what we experience was beyond ridiculous. My boyfriend ordered a medium won ton soup to start with this combo order. At about 6:30pm an HOUR after ordering our food we finally received the beef brisket that one of the members at our table of 4 ordered. We had yet to receive anything else even the starter won ton soup. The people at the table behind us who had arrived and ordered OVER A HALF HOUR AFTER US than received their food. We stopped our server ( who also happened to be the owners wife apparently ) and asked her what was up with them receiving their food before us, she basically disregarded or concern shrugged and said sorry and proceed to walk away. within the next few minutes we witnessed more tables who arrived after us receive there food, I started to get very aggravated and at this point, the joke of an owners wife who also happens to be our server, was now just completely ignoring us. By 6:45pm I was fed up, I got up from my table walked over to the counter and made sure the whole restaurant could hear me and said “We are leaving because we have been waiting for and hr and a half” the owners wife could only respond with an unempathetic “oh sorry”. thankfully White Spot saved the day with efficient and impeccable service to fulfill my...

Uber eats so cant rate service and atmosphere. I'm trying to leave comment as friendly as possible. Not recommended for Wonton noodle soup. wonton supposed to have shrimp, no shrimp?! Okay fine. But it tasted bad like soggy wonton skin and no taste whatever meat inside so i didnt finished. 總之好難食好難食🌚noodle sooo too hard, and there are Cha Siu shred with the noodle. What the hack is that. 不倫不類總之好難食💀Soup doesn't have taste either, like how😂?! 加啲雞粉都未至於無味掛 If I have to spend money to eat out i wish at least you could cook better than me who just grab a frozen wonton pack and boil it myself. It is just super disappointing. 💀

I would still like to try other dishes, maybe i just ordered a wrong item, hopefully you can offer discount tho. I hope another dish would be good so I can change my Google review rate. But wonton noodle is pretty bad just to let you know. Not recommended wonton noodle soup. 除左好難食我都唔知可以講咩。

Btw i reported one of your customer review from Verminator15xxx as harassment. His review was purely hate speech, he has the audacity to call a medical mask a face diaper, hope he never get proper medical treatment in the hospital which he never should deserved to be treat. Thanks

I appreciate the owner try their best to resolve my complaint, I tried their our dish. Definitely not terrible as I mentioned for the Wonton Noodle. It doesn't taste amazing but really not bad at all. Will still go back and try...
