I came here tonight with my boyfriends family members and it was such an amazing experience. I came to visit from NYC and they spent some time in Germany many years ago before moving to Canada. They said it was the first time they experienced Flammekueche just like they did in Germany and they were very emotional and touched by the flavors. The service was above and beyond too the waitress was so attentive to our needs. The food came out quickly and it was SO good!!! I unfortunately don’t speak French but the owner and chef came to speak to my boyfriend and his family he is so friendly and kind too :). We were unlucky last year (2023) as we didn't make a reservation and the place was full. This year we made a reservation. We had the Hivernale special which was onion, sliced potato, and smoked bacon, as well as the namesake L'ami Fritz. Frankly, it's the smoked bacon that really sets everything off. Of course, that is the chef's secret where he gets it. The salad accompanying each plate is fantastic drizzle in a wonderful dressing that complements the meal. The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and the chef comes out and talks to everyone. It's just a really welcoming place set in a homey environment with delicious food. ...

Now I know why this is rated 5 stars! The owner and his daughters love what they do and work hard! Great to see down to earth and passionate restaurateurs like them. No fuss no marketing, they just shine genuinely with yummy quality food, clean and stylish venue and exceptional service and smile!

Food are delicious and we had our best veggie « flammecoeurs » ever! Better than expected!

Was afraid they don’t have space for big group but they made things happen and it was actually a really enjoyable and fun night!

The onwner took the time to explain the origins and the ins and outs of the food there. Will come...

This place is amazing. The food was authentic and delicious, and the service was just outstanding! Our server walked us through the menu, took the time to describe where the food originated, and helped us with wine pairings that complemented the food very well. She also helped me create a custom vegetarian option for myself. As another reviewer mentioned, this can be tricky with French good. The chef personally came to us to make sure everything was just right! My husband and I will definitely be visiting here again whenever we are back in the area. I can’t recommend this place enough!!
