Absolutely amazing cookies!! When warm (either fresh or reheated for a few seconds in the microwave) they've got that deliciously soft, underbaked, melt in your mouth goodness - if that's not your jam, wait till they're cool/room temperature & you'll be enjoying the most wonderfully thick & chewy cookie experience. The texture really is perfect - I've made cookies like this, so I know getting the right consistency is key, & they totally nailed it! Of the ones I tried, the s'mores was my favourite, but every one had a slightly different, classic cookie flavour, without being overly sweet! At room temp, even my mom was impressed with the texture & flavour. She was pleasantly surprised by how balanced they were & the fact that they weren't too sweet.
They are big, so they could potentially be shared among a few people - but personally, when I was cutting them up to share, the purpose of dividing a cookie in half or quarters, was really just so everyone could try the different flavours. 6 cookies is a nice snack/dessert for 4-6 people. If you're bringing them to a dinner party with more than 6 people, you'll need more than one box.
Also, if you're coming from further away, I'd suggest stocking up on your favourite flavours or getting an extra mixed box (or 2 or 3) because they freeze incredibly well. So, if you're able to resist consuming them all right away, future you will thank you ;) I know I was glad I'd managed to stock a few away for another day. I wrapped them individually in plastic wrap so I could take out one at a time. I let them defrost on the counter for a little while & when they were room temperature again, they tasted just as incredible as the day I got them!
As someone who bakes & can actually make cookies like this, I was very impressed. They're handmade with care & using quality ingredients - so no, they're not cheap, but in the gourmet cookie world, they are actually very reasonablely priced. Especially considering the cost of butter & chocolate, or even how much a potentially hard/dry cookie at a cafe can cost these days, a box of these is absolutely worth it.
Plus the staff are wonderful! They were patient & kind, & are clearly passionate about their delicious cookie creations. I can't wait to go back for another extra special,...
Read moreUpdate: Tried a few other flavours since my first visit. Overall, I feel like the cookies are a bit too sweet and oily but some flavours will keep me coming back. Through multiple visits, really enjoyed their special flavours such as the pistachio, tiramisu, apple crumble and frosted cookie. They don’t have these flavours all the time so check their Instagram for updates!
—————- Came here when it first opened and ordered the chocolate chip cookie and decided to come here again to try out different flavours. All the cookies were yummy however a tad too sweet for my liking. My favourite was the Reese’s cookie. The cookies are slightly underbaked so the center is really soft and a bit gooey. I really wanted to try the Ferrero rocher and red velvet cookie but unfortunately they ran out that day. All in all cute little bakery to grab some tasty cookies and would...
Read moreI absolutely love this delicious little cookie shop! For around $20 +tx you can get a box of 6 huge, fresh, warm and gooey gourmet cookies! There is an awesome selection of different cookies and honestly, there are no bad ones. One of my favorite things is that you come in and order via tablet, as well as pay, so you don't feel rushed in deciding what to order or how many cookies you'd like. It doesn't take long for their staff to get your box ready (can we take a second to appreciate the aesthetic- the box is so cute!), and you can take them home and enjoy. We always end up getting 6 different cookies and then sharing them and they are always so delicious! Highly...
