TO future customers: Please open and check your pickup order, even if it’s sealed shut and ready for pickup. They didn’t completely fulfill my pickup order for a special occasion. I ordered, through UberEats for pickup, their mix grill of almost 100$ of 3 (skewers) shish taouk, 3 (skewers) filet mignon & 4 (skewers) kaftas, 2 small pots of garlic sauce and 1 container of salad, all in one brown bag for my family, while fasting for more than 12 hours during Ramadan. Once home, I only see the salad, garlic sauces with only 2 skewers of filet mignon (instead of 3 skewers), with 4 individual pieces of shish taouk (not the full 3 skewers) & 3 skewers of kafta (instead of the full 4 skewers). I called the restaurant and they referred me to UberEats as the order was done through them and to speak to their manager the next morning, they couldn’t promise a refund or do more in the moment. We’re very disappointed as it was our 2nd time ordering from them, we’ve never had problems like this through UberEats or with Papa’s before and we’ve heard great reviews about the restaurant food and tried their food in other occasions in our entourage. After trying to convince UberEats for the full refund, UberEats only gave me an Uber credit of 25$, not a refund on my actual money. I’m very disappointed in this experience, it was a big expensive order for a birthday dinner for a family relative. Are we suppose to check every expensive packaged order we pick up before we leave the restaurant? Where’s the trust in a “well-known” business who preps our pickup order ?
UPDATE: the restaurant manager called me back and agreed to make an entirely new order with no extra charge since UberEats didn’t refund me at all and to call 15mins in advance in the evening before arriving to the restaurant so they could prepare my new order ahead in time. In the evening, I called 30mins before arriving there and asked them to start preparing my order already. Once I got to the restaurant, the manager says to wait 15 more mins so they can start preparing my order. This escalated to a verbal argument, to which the manager said that this kind of situation NEVER happened in their 50 years of business, they were surprised about the missing food items from the first time around and that it was my responsibility from the first time, to open and check my packaged order before leaving the restaurant, if I didn’t trust them (???). Valentine's day my mother in law placed her big order a day in advance and they reassured her that it will be delivered the next day at 5pm. She called at noon on valentines day to make sure all was ok for that night at 5pm and the woman on the phone said yes all will be delivered for 5pm today. All the family arrived at my mother in laws, and 5 pm came and went. At 5:30 she called Papas again to get a answering machine. Still no order 😠so we had to order pizza. She called the next day to complain and the owner or man was her rude to her after she told him of her disappointment, and after she said she is done with them, the man did nothing to keep her as a client. All he did was hang up on her! My family is big along with friends as a group. I hope Papas smartens up! DO NOT ORDER THERE FOR SPECIAL EVENTS. If your renovating and shareing another restaurant in the meantime Papas perhaps it is wise not to promise clients...

They arrived late 45min. Worst part after driver left. We discovered they got wrong order. Only gave us one type of meat the cheapest of the three. We called no apology no nothing they actually lied and said we gave u two types of meat. We repeated ourselves a hundred times.
