We went to this motel because it was close to Montreal, offered WiFi, breakfast and was fairly cheap, but none of these matter because the condition of the motel was so horrid. I would only recommend going to this motel if you are simply looking for a place to sleep, do not expect anything more! If you are going to sleep here BRING YOUR OWN BED SHEETS, pillow cases or even a sleeping bag and pillow. The mattress and the comforter were completely stained in random spots and smelled 100 years old. The random Jacuzzi in the middle of the room had broken tiles and a leaky faucet. The entire design and placement of the items in the room are completely idiotic. The TV box, fridge and TV are placed beside each other near an outlet with only TWO connections. This means you can only use two of the items at once so I guess you have to pick which is more important. If you do decide to stay in this prison and plan on using the shower make sure to turn only the hot water side on first and then turn on the cold to alter the temperature of the water. If you turn the cold water knob in the shower any more than 5 mm you will be showering in Antarctica, but if you don't turn the cold water knob exactly 5 mm get ready to get scorched. Another important thing to note is that the toilet is probably the tiniest toilet I've ever sat on. I'm only 5'4 and I barely fit on the toilet seat. After a horrible nights sleep we went down for breakfast hoping for something decent. We figured that there would at least be eggs and toast. But to our shock the only thing we found were 3 cups of yogurt (there were 5 of us), MOLDY BAGELS and some other pastries not worth mentioning as they all tasted old. We were also yelled at by the receptionist for using the microwave and kettle at the same time because it would trip the breakers, but there are no signs anywhere saying not to do that! We were also told to hurry up and get our breakfast to move out of the way of other guests when we were the only ones in the room. Again, go here if you plan on spending max one night and only plan on using this motel for shelter. Do not expect...
Read moreI booked the Falcon Motel for September 28th -September 30th 2024 and selected the "pay later" option from this property. I contacted the motel 2 separate times to inquire about their security deposit policy and I was advised that it is "100$ cash per night or a credit card on file - no charge unless damages occurred."
I received a notification from Expedia on behalf of the property — while I was already on my way to the destination city — indicating there was an issue with my credit card. I would like to remind the reader that this property has agreed to a "pay later" payment type and stated they would not charge a credit card on file. I digress. I contacted the property within 2 minutes of receiving this message and the property manager indicated that the credit card on file was supposedly rejected; It is unclear why they would have charged it. (I booked alternative accomadations later the same night and was able to charge a security deposit without issue.) I told the manager there should be no issue with my card as I have credit on my card, and that I was only a few hours out from the property. He indicated the matter could be dealt with upon my arrival at the property. Upon arrival, the counter clerk stated he could not find my reservation. He then contacted his "boss" and argued with him over the phone. After concluding the call, the clerk then proceeded to argue with me directly, agressively, and said there was nothing further that could be done; he stated it was due his own colleagues neglect in entering my booking into their system — not related to my credit card. I finally decided it was best we left as my wife was growing extremely uncomfortable with the clerk's behaviour, all the while, there was a physical altercation unfolding just outside the lobby.

Read moreWe stayed at Falcon Hotel for 2 nights in June 2025 and really enjoyed our time there. Even though we were only at the hotel during the nights and mornings, it left a very positive impression.
The room was very clean and had everything we needed — a coffee machine with coffee, a microwave, a fridge, and a TV (though it showed only one channel). The air conditioner was quite loud at night, but it cooled the room perfectly in the summer heat, so it was worth it. The only thing we didn’t love was the pillows — they were so small that it almost felt like there were no pillows at all. Still, overall the comfort was good.
The staff made the stay even better — the receptionist (maybe the owner or an employee) was very polite, friendly, and funny, and the housekeepers were also kind and respectful. Check-in and check-out were simple, quick, and smooth.
The location is fantastic — very close to Montreal, which was the main reason for our trip. Driving along the bridge into the city, you can see a breathtaking view of the river and the skyline — absolutely stunning!
Another nice surprise: even though we stayed in a smoking room, there was no unpleasant smell at all. And I especially loved the large full-wall mirror with good lighting — perfect for setting up my makeup and getting ready.
Overall, a great experience with an amazing location, clean rooms, and lovely staff. Would definitely recommend...
