I have been fired by afghan manager that speak poor English and French, I am Canadian born and raised in Qc. Btw took me 2.5 days to finish the training. due to web site issue. Then first day everything was fine. Staffs very friendly. Second day, manager arrive and first minute was a disaster. She was rude and talk to me like i am a kid in front of all customers instead to talk in back store. Then she accused me to irder the wrong sandwich for a customer. which was false. And so on the whole day. She was talking to me on every little thing like micro management without asking me what i was doing , she just assume. its not because she is manaher that give her the right to treat me like a dog that bark abd follow me everywhere i go. i told her to speak in English, cause i can understabd her better in English. but often she was speaking french. She asked me if i eill come next day and day after. i said yes. next morning i arrive at 7:50am. she was happy to see me. the again she start same routine again. the coffee maker was empty in the front desk. i went make a coffee for a customer in the kitchen for that reason and when she saw me, she started to complaint and ask me to go make new coffee the machine in the front desk was empty. i said yes i know. i had the white filter coffee in front if me with coffee bags to be able to fill up at the front desk coffee maker. i put the coffee and filter and push button 3 and start. then i went back to front desk to serve customer. 10 minutes later or so, she start to complsint and show me the coffee make all coffee went on the counter and floor. that happen often milk go to the countrr snd floor. i tokd her i did not make a mistake. she said to come to her office. i asked her if maybe better stop here. she said yes thank you. and i went to the back store remove my uniform and a new staff i never saw before was there just arrived a minute ago. next day i found that strange. maybe she setup me with false incident to justify my firing. i asked her the phone number shanid , she refused. i told her she csn check cctv canera to see who is erong. she told me i can go a supervisor that is in the dining room. i explained what happened. she seem not care a bit. she said she trust her store manager... then i saw by chance the managing director who hired me at the other tim i told him i got fired and second day of work i spent with her was very bad experience. he did not let me finish. he talk. he said he will call me back and 3 days...
Read moreMystifying. The only Tim Horton's where food and time are sucked into a black hole. We just left after waiting in line for 30 minutes without even being able to order... because during that time the line. Did. Not. Move. Exactly 3 people received an order in 30mn, three teenagers who had been waiting already when we arrived. We changed our kid, took turns going outside with her... and the line never moved. Nearly ten employees seemed both constantly busy and completely lost behind the counter. Some employees hovered left and right, empty-handed. They seemed overwhelmed by the number of customers while at the same time making no attempt to either take or deliver any order. Even stranger: the coffee machine hissed non-stop. Coffees were being made one after another and stacked next to the machine. For who? We'll never know: none of these coffees were ever handed to any customer. Not a single donut moved: the window was full as if not a product had been sold. By the time we left, half a dozen more people had entered the store, which was now packed full of nothing but the line and a few customers who lingered at empty tables. The delivery guy who had been waiting for an order since our arrival was still there: he had not yet received the food. What is...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible service. Forgot coffee despite us being the only customer in the store at that time. Then I saw that my BLT sandwich did not have lettuce or tomatoes. I went back to counter and asked why and the guy who called himself the manager at 6:40 in AM said they ran out of tomato and lettuce and I asked why he didn’t let me know when I picked up the order. He said because we were sitting down and he couldn’t tell us. I said that’s not true because I physically came to the counter and picked it up. He then said that he forgot to put the tomato in. And refused to make me a new one until one of his coworkers came by. He was rude and unprofessional throughout. The colleague however was quite professional. Also he just left the order on the counter the first time without informing us it’s ready. So in a single order he forgot the coffee. Forgot to put tomato in and did not mention to us there was no lettuce when we picked it up and left the food on the counter without informing us. This is the first time in my whole Tim’s experience where I felt absolutely disgusted by his unprofessionalism. Especially coming...
