SIAM DIX30!!!! WHAT A DISASTER!!!!! So very embarrassing and humiliating. The management is unforgivable!!! They ruined my party last night. On Friday April 5th I reserved a table for 16 online and asked for confirmation for my reservation which would take place on the following Tuesday. I did not receive my confirmation for the group of 16. Therefore, I called the restaurant to confirm. They agreed to have us seated together and gave me the option of 3 menus and told me I had up until Sunday to confirm my choice. Same Friday afternoon I called the restaurant and asked for option 3. Yesterday, day of the gathering, I was greeted by my team standing at the entrance of the restaurant. They were all standing and waiting for our table for 15 minutes as the seating was not ready and they were not in the capability to serve us our choice of meal option 3 (which we took the time to choose). Management was not accommodating, nor showed any sign they wanted us to stay. We should have left then and there but we were a large group and people were already tired and hungry. It was a large group for me to move to a different location at 6h30 on a Tuesday evening. We were forced to make a quick decision at the entrance of the restaurant. SO SHAMEFULL!!! UNFORGIVING!!!! RESTAURANT WAS QUIET with plenty of room to spare and no one from the staff moved to accommodate my group. Talk about trying new places! It was getting late and I was put in the position to move the tables myself with the help of my group. There were 3 mistakes on our orders when we received our food and 2 mistakes later on our receipts (that we are aware of). The management showed no sympathy or willingness to accommodate our group. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO...
Read moreI recently dined at Siam, a Thai food restaurant, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The food was undoubtedly delicious, showcasing the vibrant flavors and aromatic spices that Thai cuisine is known for. Each dish was expertly prepared, and I thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Thai flavors that danced on my palate. From the fragrant green curry to the tangy pad Thai, Siam truly delivered on the promise of an enjoyable culinary journey.
However, one aspect that slightly detracted from the experience was the service. I found the service to be on the slower side, which resulted in longer wait times for both ordering and receiving our food. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the delays were noticeable and could be improved upon. Despite this, once the food arrived, it was well worth the wait, as the flavors were exceptional.
Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Siam offered a 50% discount on their wine selection. Although you specifically asked if it was a Monday special, I cannot confirm whether the discount is limited to Mondays or if it applies throughout the week. However, it is certainly worth taking advantage of if you're a wine enthusiast looking to complement your meal with a fine selection.
In conclusion, Siam is a Thai food restaurant that delivers on taste and authenticity. The dishes are undeniably delicious, showcasing the rich flavors of Thai cuisine. While the service could be improved in terms of speed, the friendly staff and delectable food make for an enjoyable dining experience. And if you're a wine lover, the potential 50% discount on their wine selection adds an extra...
Read moreDespite all the good reviews we checked before trying it out, the food was ok at best, unfortunately whereas the service was subpart.
We were assigned a table during the end of peak hours( most of the customers had already received their food) so we were definitely not expecting a 4 hours dining experience there. Yes, 4 hours because in between our entrees(they were delicious actually, but I'd skip the tartar salad) and our main course, at least an hour and a half have passed. Now onto our main dish, they were, for lack of better words, meh at best. The fried chickens tasted like nothing but overly sweetened batters and the curry was overwhelmed by the coconut flavor whereas the meat felt like boiled meat; Tasteless, dry, and mushy.
Our waiter suggested to offer us free dessert after our meal but he ended up forgetting about it, and we weren't surprised. By the time we were done, there were barely any customer left yet no one came to clean our tables, at least not until we waved at the waiter like crazy for him to come and clean up. Leaving a table unattended while having the best time of his life chatting with his coworkers surely doesn't scream good service, especially when the food isn't exactly inexpensive (we got out of the restaurant almost 70$ per person)
All in all, it's not worth your money unless you're going for the...
