Despite the unassuming "sports bar" category, the place is definitely a notch above what you'd expect from your typical sports bar. Carpeted floor, upholstered furniture, and a spacious, relaxed atmosphere more akin to a gastropub. The large surrounding windows provide plenty of natural light, and the TVs sprawled around for sports aficionados aren't too obtrusive. The music is on the loud side; I measured 63 dB(A), making this a poor choice for a romantic dinner. They also have a large patio for warmer days, facing the busy intersection, if you prefer the sound of traffic to the loud music.
The menu covers typical American/Americanized fare, with a good selection of meat dishes, pasta, sandwiches, and of course pizzas. The items I tried were very good, and presentation was delightful. Service is friendly and quick. Beer selection includes a handful of domestics and imports on tap: Canadian, Budweiser, Coors, Heineken, Stella and Guinness, as well as a long list of bottled beers. The bar looks well stocked.
Prices are somewhat above the norm for the area, with most main dishes starting around $20, burgers and sandwiches around $15, and pizzas from $15 (small) to $25 (medium). The lunch combos, available throughout the week, are a good deal, at $10 for a decent lunch-sized meal with one side dish. I did, however, find the penne primavera (Anglicized on the menu as "Primavera Penne") to be on the small side even for lunch, and I'm not exactly a supersize-it person.
Parking is ample, and wheelchair access is easy.
September 2018 update: The recent children's meals promotion turned the place on weekends from a sports bar into a Chuck E. Cheese's. Great if you want to feed your kids while having a beer, not so great if you want to relax and kick back with friends. I love family restaurants and I love bars, but a business has to pick which it...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Boston Pizza, and I can't stop raving about the incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special.
The ambiance was enchanting. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decor was tasteful, and the soft lighting created the perfect mood for a memorable evening.
But what truly set Boston Pizza apart was the outstanding service. Rohit, our server, was a gem. He was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about the food. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attention to detail was impeccable. Rohit made us feel like VIPs throughout our meal.
Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish was a masterpiece. The flavors were nothing short of sensational. The presentation was a work of art, and the portion sizes were just right. I couldn't get enough of the mouthwatering flavors that danced on my palate with each bite.
I was particularly impressed by the restaurant's commitment to accommodating dietary preferences. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the variety of options available to me, and the dishes were so delectable that even my non-vegetarian companions were thoroughly impressed.
In terms of pricing, I found Boston Pizza to be reasonable for the quality of food and service they provide. It's rare to find a place that offers such an exceptional dining experience without breaking the bank.
In summary, Boston Pizza is a culinary paradise. With its inviting ambiance, exceptional service from Rohit, and an unforgettable menu, it's a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreThis location was one of the best operated Boston Pizzas for years. Until...a change in management and/or owners in the last year. Since that change, the service is by far abysmal. Last night over 40 min before any ordered food arrived. The appetizer showed up after our main course, the main course was a pizza that wasn't sliced leaving us to slice it ourselves, requested condiments didn't show up, our drink glass had baked on food from previous drinker which was by far the grossest experience. The worst part...our server went missing since taking our order and no one was looking after our table and other tables. Drinks sat empty, plates piling up, parts of order missing with no help and other tables including ours requesting to speak to a manager for answers. Manager took 10 min to show up and after listening to the issues at hand, told us our sever told another manager that she vomited and went home. How nice to hear that as we are still eating and bigger question was how was our food handled then? But this manager in questions then tripped over his own lie as he later told us he was the only manager on the floor and he is the bar manager only. We ended up paying for our food and leaving with take home boxes after losing our appetites. The visit before this there was issues with their ice maker and drink dispensers, before that visit there was orders being forgotten. This location has gone down hill very fast and its a shame. What once was our go to place, we are now reluctant to dine at this location. This new management should...
