Goody's — Restaurant in Burlington

Must try! Started working in Burlington and am always looking for good food for lunch time. Found this place online and the reviews I read made me want to try it out. Glad I did!!

When I walked in I was greeted by one of the employees right away. There were like 4 guys behind the counter all working in sync and fast! Everyone knows the feeling of waking into say a Subway and there’s one girl making subs! 🙄 There was a couple people infront of me and it went quick! When I was up I asked the gentlemen serving me what there best selling sub was and he immediately recommended the buffalo chicken sub. He explained it was a mix of sauces with buffalo and garlic sauce which I was not sure about! Glad I pulled the trigger because the sub was one of the best chicken subs I’ve ever had! The buns they use are delicious, soft and fresh! The chicken was made to perfection. A little charred/crispy on the outside but soft and juicy on the inside. With the added toppings and the combo sauce it was sooo good! I ordered a full sub and there was so much chicken on it I ate half and was pretty full! Great value for what you pay!

Forget places like Subway and Mr sub! This place puts them to shame! Go support a local business that’s not a chain. You will thank me later! Goddy’s, I’ll be back 100% to try the other items you...

The star rating system cannot accurately depict the service you will receive at this establishment. Charlie, whom I haven’t seen in a decade is 10/10. This man operated a subway shop when I was a kid. I don’t know how he did it but he made each sub feel like it wasn’t just another subway. I would walk in with 10 friends at a time, he already would have spotted us from across the street approaching the store, orders memorized on what we liked on what dates, if it was a weekend snack 6inch or an after practice footlong loaded to the max. He would know. He always treated everyone so kindly and taught us so much. One day he was just gone and that shop was never the same & every now several years later we still mention Charlie, how great of a person he was and how he was a staple to so many in that neighbourhood. With all that praise imagine how my face lit up to walk into goodys for the first time ever today and see him. Just him alone standing there i knew i would be a repeat customer any time im in burlington…..goodys. Do not under any circumstances let...
