Let me put this quickly at the start of my review… THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR ESTABLISHMENT!!! I ASSUME THEY USED FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO GET THEIR RATINGS SO HIGH!!
I never do reviews but I have never been so disappointed with an establishment before. So I felt the need to warn others before they waste their money. First off, when I came in, I was waiting a while just to order, with nobody managing the register. Although there was one worker who actually seemed competent who came rushing in to finally take my order. She was the only one who seemed friendly and suited for customer service, so she’s the reason I gave the service 2 stars instead of 1. Now onto the food… I ordered a smash burger combo that came with fries and a pop. Before I can even get into the taste I have to say THEY FORGOT MY FRIES. I’ve seen other reviews where people were shorted fries as well. How hard is it to get fries right at a burger place? They are so inexpensive and quick to make. At all of the fish and chip or burger places I’ve been to they always give more than enough fries. Anyways.. moving on to the smash burger, it was dry, under seasoned and the processed cheese didn’t help. The onions were barely caramelized, and the “mountain sauce” was just another variant of aioli. The bun was pretty good but I suspect it’s outsourced. If not, I mean how do you mess up a burger bun? Make it dry and flavourless? Oh wait they already do that with their burgers… Coming to price, the whole meal was overpriced for the small portion you get. Overall, it’s clear mountain burger knows exactly how to bring in customers; hiring 1 person per shift with excellent customer service, using their family and friends to post phoney reviews, taking high quality pictures of food that look nothing like what you actually get and serving a scoop of free ice cream to people waiting for their orders. I can’t help but wonder if this approach will actually keep customers coming back. Because as for me, I won’t be returning. If you’re considering ordering from here, do yourself a favour and save your...
Read moreStumbled into Mountain Burger on a hungry whim, half-crazed from the road and driven by an animal craving for something real—something honest and chargrilled. No neon distractions, no corporate nonsense, just the pure Canadian gospel of meat and potatoes done right.
The moment I crossed the threshold, the chaos of the outside world melted away. The joint had a clean, confident vibe. No pretension. That’s when Jasmine appeared—like a guide in this burger temple—sharp, friendly, and faster than a Vegas blackjack dealer. She walked me through the menu without missing a beat, locking in my order with the precision of a seasoned pro. Classic cheeseburger and fries. Keep it simple. Keep it sacred.
Sat myself down and barely had time to scope the scene before Jasmine returned with the goods—served hot, no delay, like it was conjured out of thin air. The burger? A monument to craftsmanship. Juicy beyond reason, seasoned with something close to reverence. Each topping stacked with purpose, no weak links, no afterthoughts. The kind of burger that doesn’t need gimmicks—it speaks for itself, and it speaks loud.
The fries were golden rods of glory. Crisp like the first snap of a high-voltage wire, but tender inside—comfort food alchemy at its finest. Not greasy, not limp, just the sweet middle ground between indulgence and art.
Mountain Burger is the real deal. The only thing missing is a little outdoor seating. Give the road-weary traveler a chance to refuel under the open sky, take in the air, and plot the next move on the map of life.
I’ll be back. And I...

My wife and I ordered a smash burger and their vegan green mountain burger to go
The staff are incredibly friendly, offering suggestions to new customers and bringing food right out to their table when ready.
The burgers are made fresh, so be prepared to wait 20 minutes for you food.
The restaurant itself is gorgeous. They have this huge wall with artwork and vicense places from various places around the globe. The restaurant was super clean and well lit.
If you're eating in, there's two 2-tops, two bench seating 4-tops, two additional 4-tops and a little bar with five or six seats. Ample room if you want to dine in.
Price wise - this puts it in the "fancy burger" tier - expect to pay $25 for a burger and fries.
Taste wise - the buns are great, being almost a cross between a potato roll and brioche. My burger was loaded with caramelized onions which were phenomenal. The burger itself was lacy with a great crust, albeit maybe very very very slightly underseasoned. Their burger sauce was great too.
Selection wise - it is typical burger joint fare with a few surprises. They have about 8-ish different burgers, plus a vegan option. They have a selection of "loaded fries" with various toppings, as well as hot dogs. Don't quote me but they may have gluten free...
