Nice Hakka Chinese Restaurant with great service and good food. We are always trying Hakka food around to find a good restaurant. This one definitely checks almost all the boxes. We didn't try their chicken this time but definitely will be back for that. They have a very extensive Menu options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian people. Especially their section on Paneer was very interesting, wanted to try almost all of those items. They also serve alcohol here. The ambiance was nice and quiet. They have ample parking spots available as they are part of a plaza. The handicapped accessible parking spot is right in front of them. However, they do not have handicapped accessible entrance. We were really impressed by the server as he was constantly keeping an eye out if we needed anything. The serving was really quick too, all the items were at our table within 5-10 mins max. The washrooms were really clean. The handicapped accessible washroom was working and definitely is appreciated. We ordered Veg Manchurian Soup, Veg Fried Rice, Veg steamed Momo's, Veg Manchurian Dry and Veg Chilli Wrap. The food was good. Although we were not very impressed with the Momo's. We really enjoyed the wraps, this is definitely a good find and highly recommended. Lastly we ordered Masala Tea. It was really good and made fresh on the gas. Overall a really good restaurant.

I'm not sure why the reviews are mostly 5 stars. Based on that, we decided to try the Chicken Schezwan Momos and Manchurian Shrimp Fried Rice, but we were deeply disappointed. The momos were just okay— they seemed like frozen momos that were likely steamed and then fried. They didn’t seem freshly made in the restaurant. Additionally, the sauce for the momos didn’t taste good. On the other hand, the restaurant was fully empty on a Sunday night. As for the fried rice, it didn’t taste like Hakka fried rice at all. I'm not saying the food was bad— it was fresh, but it just didn’t meet our expectations based on the reviews. We love Hakka momos and fried rice, and we’ve been to many restaurants across the GTA. In terms of taste, this place would score very low.

$50 pure rip off not Hakka, you can get a better meal at the foodcourt than Hakka House. Do not spend your money here, it is not Hakka at all. I would give it negative stars if I could because I was so disappointed. I ordered a $11 hot and sour soup and they gave us a tub of corn starch mixed with soy sauce and cabbage. It was ENTIRELY junk soy sauce, I could have bought 4 bottles of soy sauce for that money. They cannot even be bothered to Google how to cook hot and sour soup! I want my money back and I would cancel that credit card purchase if I could. 2023 is already turning into a terrible year and it isn’t even 48 hours past midnight. If the recession takes their business then that just does us all a favour.

The establishment was not terrible, but it was not the best either. I must say that the service was satisfactory. The food was served quite promptly, and the server was courteous. They even offered us a complimentary dessert at the end of the meal.

The only reasons I am not rating this establishment with five stars are as follows:

The server stood uncomfortably close to our table, which was situated near the front desk. This made it difficult to converse and enjoy our meal.

The noodles had an unusual odor, and the chicken had a rubbery texture.

The crispy shrimp and crispy paneer dough were unfortunately soggy.

The food did not settle well after consumption.

Overall, the experience was mediocre. Perhaps it was due to the fact that the restaurant was empty when we visited. I cannot say for certain, but I cannot claim that everything went well during our visit. I regret that I was unable to take any photographs due to the circumstances at the restaurant. This was my first time dining there, and this is an account of...

I am from Delhi and the name Indo chinese has it's own image and taste for me. The food here was different, wasn't exactly what I was expecting it was good. Service was fabulous. Our server's name was Neel if I am not wrong. He made sure we like outlr food, and kept coming to the table asking if everything is okay. We had to return something as we didn't like it, he politely apologized and took it back. And suggested us other options what we may like. They gladly accepted the customizations we asked for. The chef was the owner and that reflects in the food and the service which was good. It is a small place with around 5 or 6 tables and hence I have less stars for atmosphere. But for a small place this is good. We really enjoyed the chilli veggie Sizzler which was a bit of sweet, sour and chilli... I would recommend please ask the server for suggestions and make sure you understand the dishes before ordering them. Overall we...
