Read moreWhen I was seated and then forgotton about, I had a chance to look around at this circus style, breakfast place. I saw one server running around, trying to fix mistakes and catch up with new customers. It was actually quite comical, if it wasn't sad. It would have been a better show if someone had given me a coffee to drink, while watching the show. I was there ten minutes before my buddy arrived- still no server or coffee. We finally got served, and I saw one couple getting late menu additions to the table. I saw them shaking their heads, then the guy just tippped what was on the plate he had, to theirs. As he walked away, the couple were still shaking their heads. The food arrived and it was just okay, warm but not hot. I thought the coffee was good and it would have been nice to be offered another, while eating my meal. I did get another later and again, it was good. Instead of fresh tea, they added water to the original teabag in the pot. I didnt realise how expensive teabags are today. It cost around $12 for breakfast, plus drink. I think the staff were trying but when you have just one server, a comedy is just one failed missing toast, or wrong order away. If you want an excellent breakast, dont come here, but if you want to...

But what really made our visit special was Sultan, the chef, who personally brought my plate to the table. I thanked him, told him how cool it was that he brought the food out himself, and asked if he was the chef. He confirmed, we shook hands, and I mentioned that my friend and I always pray before our meals and if there’s anything we can pray for him.
Sultan humbly shared that he was Muslim, but said we could pray for his family. He stood with us respectfully while we prayed for him, and for the meal. It was a great exchange.
After we finished and paid, we also gave our waitress a Gospel tract called The 3 Big Questions and asked her to pass it on to Sultan.
The food was great, the price was fair, and the service was...
