I had the misfortune of dealing with Jenn — apparently the owner (not that it matters, because she clearly doesn’t know how to treat customers). Her attitude was outright arrogant and dismissive.
This location has never had a “customer-first” approach. I’ve had a couple of bad experiences here before when someone named Alexa was working at the front — but I let it go. This time, though, I’ve had enough, and I’m finally posting a review because Jenn, as the owner, seriously needs to learn how to speak to customers. I'm not asking for a free pizza — I'm paying for it and expect basic respect.
Today, I placed my order with Priyank, and even after it showed up on the screen, Jenn kept doing other prep work and ignored it. Fine, I let that slide. But I ordered the “unlimited toppings” pizza — what a joke. I asked for pineapple, and Jenn literally threw on four tiny pieces. When I asked her to add more, she arrogantly snapped back saying they have "limited portions." The issue wasn’t just the portion — it was her tone, the rudeness, and complete lack of eye contact.
If that’s how the owner treats paying customers, there’s no hope for the rest of the team. And honestly, the pizza itself was bland and not worth the money. I immediately regretted tipping during the order — they absolutely don’t deserve it.
I’ll never return to this location again. Thankfully, a new Freshslice is opening near Royal Oak SkyTrain. I’ll be giving them a try instead of wasting another...
Read moreTerrible customer service from a Philipino lady. This is not the first time she has been rude to me, but definetely the worst. I wanted to get the BCAA promo of the two slices and a pop, but she told me it wasn't available anymore ( I had just purchased this promotion an hour ago from someone else at this location, so I was confused). She then told me the new promotions. I paused to think and asked if she could please repeat them as I was still processing the fact that the promo I had just acquired wasn't available anymore. She wasn't pleased to repeat them as she told me, "I just told you." I explained I forgot and as she finished repeating them she ended with a loud and rude "OKAY?" I explained ( angrily, I must admit) to this lady that since I don't work there, I don't remember these promotions and that I was confused because I had just been served the former promo earlier. She mockinly yelled "Yeah, yeah my fault!" I didn't buy and walked away. There were two people sitting outside telling me how she had been rude to them earlier and how they were relieved to hear it wasn't their perception only. They felt validated and so did I. This is the first time I've reacted to her belittling behaviour and hope there isn't another one. I like this location. It's convenient, their other staff has great customer skills. It's a shame she's tarnishing this place with her attitudes...
Read moreI went to this branch with my cousin an hour ago. Unfortunately, the lady (Jenn) who works there treated us very badly. When I mentioned this issue, it is better to put a ketchup next to the hot sauce that not labeled. Because some people are allergic to hot sauce and it is better to have a hot sauce with a label. She said in a very rude tone that you can try the sauce before pouring it and that it is illegal to serve ketchup in a restaurant here (Canada). Now this question is raised, so how is ketchup served in many restaurants and how can a person who is allergic to pepper try hot sauce? The next thing is that this lady did not cover her hair while preparing the pizzas and continued to prepare the pizzas with bangs. This lady's behavior should be reviewed because the very poor customer service of this branch leads to the rejection of many customers like me. I will not go to this branch again and I advise all my relatives and friends not to go to this branch. I am a manager of an office near this branch and I will definitely pass this on to my clients and colleagues. Non-observance of health matters and...
