Sunday morning around 10:45, at the McDoanld’s HQ location, naturally there was a crowd trying to get breakfast before 11am. This location was short-staffed, as the staff was running around like their heads’ cut off.
The bad part was that they tried to manipulate the service time statistics by moving us to “now serving” when a coffee was missing, and then removing it together about 20 seconds later. The staff then went on to forget about the missing coffee, and let us wait for ~4 minutes, before I demanded to talk to the manager, who was rude and unapologetic.
I chose to come to this location instead of a closer one because I thought that the HQ location would provide the best service. But I am disappointed that, perhaps they were taking advantage of the fact that their bosses are not working today.
Terrible!
Edit: It turns out that they even filled the wrong order. I ordered a Sausage and Egg McMuffin and a Bacon and Egg McGriddle, and they gave me two McMuffins. It was past 11am, so they refused to make me a McGriddle. I settled for a Bacon and Egg McMuffin, as my girlfriend specifically came here for some bacon.
You see, when you’re short-staffed, you still shouldn’t take shortcuts. This is how things can go wrong, and end up costing you more time and money.
This whole ordeal is the responsibility of the manager, who allowed the staff to do things...
Read moreShould take account of how you handle limited time items. It feels near disrespectful to send me out for items I order because you have them available and it excitede enough that you got my business... Well like any other scam style offer that doesn't exist when I go to pick up my food and your employees feel ashamed and it isn't their fault. You embarrass your employees and the people who show up for that specific item. This time it was a shamrock shake.. last year it was the same. Pretty much anytime you have limited time items or cups that have sweepstakes. I never receive any I show up happy and leave disappointed . But you know I got food so I should be stoked right.. I'll just eat my burger and go on with my day.. well not today. I'm gonna make sure you hear about it.. be honest with people and stop defrauding customers.... You have something available have it available if not stop listing it on the actual kiosk where you pay now and on the app which should know when they run out.. you can manage. It's really not that hard for an employee to figure out there is no more syrup and to write that the hell down somewhere and let the app KNOW. Left hand can actually let...
Read moreMcDonald’s is one of the most recognizable fast food chains in the world, and for good reason. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a familiar meal while traveling, McDonald’s offers consistency, speed, and affordability.
The menu has evolved over the years, expanding beyond the classic Big Mac and fries to include healthier options like salads, fruit, and even plant-based alternatives in some locations. The breakfast menu is a standout, with items like the Egg McMuffin and hash browns being long-time favorites. Their coffee has also improved significantly and is surprisingly good for a fast food chain.
Service can vary depending on location and time of day. Some restaurants are clean, well-staffed, and efficient, while others may have longer wait times or cleanliness issues. The self-serve kiosks have made ordering easier, and mobile app deals can offer great discounts if you’re a frequent customer.
Of course, this is fast food — so don’t expect gourmet quality. But for what it is, McDonald’s does a solid job delivering familiar flavors quickly and at a reasonable price. Just know what you’re getting into, and you’ll rarely be...
