First time. I built my own bowl, regular size, which means two scoops of protein. I cannot help but compare to Steve’s.
The good: fresh ingredients, good choice of vegetable toppings, great service, cardboard instead of plastic bowls, enjoyed the wasabi basil mayo and mango toppings. There was more rice in my half rice half salad choice than Steve’s. That isn’t necessarily good for me as I would rather have more of each topping.
The bad: Serving size seemed small enough to eat in one sitting, whereas I can make two meals out of Steve’s. The protein servings were also small. The scallop looked partially cooked and I like it raw. I did like that crab was a topping, not a protein, so that made up a bit for the small protein amounts. I also did not like having my toppings limited.
Overall, it was delicious and fresh and a similar price to Steve’s. However, the cilantro, mango, and albacore tuna toppings are unique and that alone would have me...
Read moreAs a genuine regular customer at Pokérrito since its my favorite Poké in Vancouver, I am horrified and extremely frustrated about this particular experience which is usually otherwise always flawless. My first time ordering from the Market Crossing branch via an Uber Eats lunch haul. Evident from the pictures, needless to say the grade of Poké was not fresh, extremely dried-up, bland and very much lacking. I had to dig into my bowl for 4 measley pieces of dried up and expiring Tuna, 2 teeny prawns and barely a cube of octopus. I couldn’t finish this, the Wakame was also super slimy and the entire thing tasted like expired produce including the rice was very clumpy, hard, chewy and undercooked. I’m absolutely gutted about this and has definetely altered my perception of the Pokérrito, the worst Poké experience ever and i’d very much recommend avoiding this particular location at all costs. I really hope I don’t get...
Read moreI just ordered delivery from this location today, and my brother and I are extremely disappointed. We both built our own bowls. Mine consisted of 7 scoops of protein total, but after looking at the bowl it looks equivalent to a regular bowl with 2-3 scoops of protein. My brothers large bowl with an extra scoop of protein looks like it is equivalent to a regular sized bowl. The portions were horrendous. I paid for an extra 5 scoops of protein total between the two bowls, just to have it amount to a visual 2-3 scoops worth in each bowl. This is on top of the 3 scoops that come with the large bowl option. All other toppings seemed like they have been halved also, especially the base rice and the kale noodles I paid extra for. Waited for two bowls filled with half AIR.
I would give zero stars if there was an option. I hope others do not receive the same treatment when they order delivery from you, this is...
