Soon Coffee at The Amazing Brentwood – A Beautifully Crafted Experience
Tucked away in The Amazing Brentwood, Soon Coffee is an absolute gem that delivers far more than just your daily caffeine fix — it offers an entire experience, thoughtfully curated from branding to brew.
The first thing that strikes you is the stunning branding. The inviting color palette of lavender, navy blue, and pink creates a warm, unique atmosphere that immediately sets Soon Coffee apart from the usual coffee shop aesthetic. The logo, featuring an adorable dog carrying a coffee on the go, perfectly captures the playful yet refined spirit of the brand — it's memorable, charming, and beautifully designed.
The coffee itself is equally impressive. I ordered the Vanilla Cardamom Latte, and it was truly a work of art. The coffee is smooth and not overly bold, with an earthy, rich aromatic presence that feels both grounding and luxurious. The vanilla and cardamom dance together seamlessly — the vanilla's soft sweetness perfectly balancing the cardamom's spicy, minty, almost ginger-like notes. The result is a flavor profile that hints at gingerbread and molasses, creating a cozy, nostalgic experience that's both comforting and sophisticated.
Every sip felt intentional, drawing me deeper into the beautiful ambiance they've so carefully crafted. From the moment you step in, to the last sip of your drink, Soon Coffee offers an inviting, unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend making a stop here — whether you're a coffee aficionado or just someone looking for a fresh, memorable place to relax and...
Read moreMatcha* Latte Guys... D'oh! I was pretty stoked to try out this coffee joint after learning that it was coming to the mall, it's also had some crazy amount of hype on social media since the launch. As it's just opened, I can't discredit staff from product knowledge, they were efficient and kind which was awesome. I got a Matcha* Latte (lol not Maccha - huge typo!) and a Chai latte which were pretty good. The barista had to go check, they don't add syrup but it is a premixed powder with Coconut sugar but doesn't taste overly sweet but I don't like how they do not use actual tea bags. They also mix the matcha powder with water first so it's not entirely milk based and infact therefore a misto. I do like how they support and uplift other local business by promoting Lee's Donuts from Granville Island. However, to be honest I wasn't super impressed from the available bakery goods and felt more like a trunk of somebody's car with cardboard boxes everywhere. Earth's Own Oat Milk (barista style) is the perfect latte combo. However, an extra 75 cents seems to be pretty steep when the cup sizes are small compared to a lot of other vendors. They also offer no other dairy-free milk alternatives. I would love if they could provide compostable style cups and lids which could be incorporated into the Brentwood Mall food court disposal system since I assume a huge amount of waste will be generated due to the amount of human traffic passing through that food court. All in all, not crazy impressed to be completely honest and a huge social overload on the hype for...
Read moreWe wanted to check out the new Amazing Brentwood and had heard good things about this spot so we stopped by for drinks and baked goods! The workers were pleasant and efficient and the signs were nice and simple. They were in large text and easy to read which was appreciated.
We ordered the roasted green tea slushie, the coffee slushie, the almond croissant, and the double chocolate cookie. Everything tasted great! The coffee slushie was well-balanced and had a pretty strong coffee flavour which we really liked.
The roasted green tea slushie was amazing! It was so flavourful and it was an amazing deal considering it automatically comes dairy-free and made with oat milk. If you wanted a tall green tea frappuccino with oat milk from Starbucks for example, it would have costed $6. But this drink came in at $4.62 and I think it tastes significantly better than any other green tea blended drink I've had.
The roasted flavour is perfect and balances with the sweetness well. If you're someone who likes things half sweetness or less it might be a bit too sweet for your taste, but I'm sure they can make adjustments for that. I just got it default as it was our first time.
The baked goods were also very tasty, and they came from local companies, the croissant I believe was from Beaucoup Bakery and the cookie from To Live For Bakery in Vancouver. We were really pleased with our visit and will...
