I recently had a disappointing experience at the Nike store in Brentwood regarding a return. I purchased a product the day before at another branch and requested that the tag be removed at checkout. However, the associate at the time disposed of the tag without informing me that it would be required for a return. When I returned the next day to process a refund, I was told that without the tag, I could only receive store credit.
While I understand the importance of store policies, this key detail was never communicated to me at the time of purchase. When I brought this up, a sales associate (March 15 afternoon shift/associate name started with A) handled the situation in a very unprofessional and impolite manner, making the interaction unnecessarily difficult. Rather than assisting me in finding a solution, her approach was dismissive and unhelpful.
Fortunately, the store manager on duty (whose name I regretfully did not catch) intervened and handled the situation professionally. Their support was appreciated, but the overall experience left a negative impression.
As a long-time Nike customer who invests significantly in the brand, I expect a higher level of professionalism and customer service. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all associates are properly trained to communicate policies clearly and handle customer concerns with professionalism...
Read moreI have been wearing Nike shoes exclusively for almost ten years with no issues. I bought a pair of Nike Free Run 5.0 in the second week of September and by mid October they had begun separating at the seams and developed holes at the back of the shoe. I wore them for daily use to and from school, this would be considered light use. I would consider this to be faulty design or manufacturing but the Brentwood store refused to make a return claiming usual wear and tear. It is extremely disappointing for a brand to consider torn seams and holes regular wear and tear after less than two months. It speaks very poorly to the quality of merchandise they are selling. I’ve had previous iterations of the free run line last for more than two years with heavier use. I do not recommend that anybody purchases running shoes from Nike and I will be buying my shoes from better brands who care about the quality of products...
