SunTea 新作の茶 Hastings — Restaurant in Burnaby

I mean, who doesn't love the taste of a Fresh Milk (Oat-Milk) Matcha Bubble Tea with Red Bean.. so in terms of flavour it was super yummy to give credit where it's due. The staff were nice enough to give us a taster of the white Pearls and Boba Pearls whilst deciding and were very friendly. The joint is also in a great location with no other Bubble Tea competors around and is a nice new clean building with good upkeep. However, just shy of 18 bucks for two Bubble Teas (1 x Fresh Milk (Oat-Milk) Matcha Bubble Tea with Red Bean and White Pearls and 1 x Fresh Milk (Oat-Milk) Matcha Bubble Tea with Red Bean and White Pearls) with 15% tip is literally INSANE and a 75 cents increase for Oat Milk per drink (which is awesome they do offer this) when the cup size in comparison to Milk powder is tiny, is pretty crazy to me. If you download their app or sign up on their website they do have a member rewards program which is good and their also on FanTuan. Therefore, in summary it tastes awesome but is super expensive in comparison to other chains which offer the same drink. I'd feel bad if someone treat me to this! As a big Bubble Tea fan, this is definetely not a go-to joint for me. I also do love their designs and recyclable style cups and appreciate what they are doing to...

The Employee at the till was extremely rude. We placed an order at 9:45pm by call and picked it up few mins before 10:00pm. The guy at the till in a threatening tone told us "Dont you know we close at 10pm" when there were 2 other cutomers who just entered before us and 2 more behind us. It's understandable that closing times and last minute customers can be frustrating. However, I am a regular customer who lives at a 2 minute walking distance and every time I visit, the customer service keeps getting WORSE. He nicely greeted the people behind us. He was only rude to us.

TLDR: Super slow and ridiculous service

I came with a group of 9 people and about 5 or 6 of us ordered. They had two people working at the time and I was shocked that it took them more than 30 minutes to make our drinks. Also, what was strange to me was that they made the drinks and sent them out in random order. There were people who ordered after me who got their drinks before me, which is not great service... I tried to order the coconut pudding mango with coconut milk and it took them 30 minutes AFTER I ordered to tell me that they didn't have coconut pudding. What kind of establishment does that? I instead ordered the oreo mochi milk tea.. the taste was fine but the texture was like snotty because their mochi is stringy and weird. The way they run this place is pretty...
